Is cleaning complicated? Do I need to soak the parts before washing it?

Not complicated in the slightest, comes apart very easily and mostly cleaned by rinsing under the tap. The tiny mesh filter needs a gentle brush and the brush is supplied. Much easier to clean than my previous one which took ages.

Can this juicer work for oranges?

I make a glass of orange juice with this juicer almost every day, works great, I recommend.

How about the juice and pomace from this juicer?

I juiced cucumber, spinach and pear in succession, the juice came out dense and silky, the pomace is dry, very satisfying.

How does it fare when it comes to squeezing carrots?

I use it also with carrots. Anyway I would suggest you to chop them before squeezing, the machine is under less stress. However, the machine does its job perfectly
