Great rolling pin!
Great rolling pin for my cake pops! I roll dough to half an inch. The guides are wonderfully functional for rolling dough evenly. Easy to clean, easy to use. Saved the box & it’s great to store the rolling pin in.

The proper thickness creates perfect culinary outcomes!
After years of using multiple types of rolling pins, wood, metal, and plastic, we finally concluded that no matter what we used, we were getting different thicknesses of dough that were causing different outcomes for the products we were baking so, off the fantastic world of internet research and as you can imagine the numerous methods of getting the dough to the right thickness and cooking time. A friend of ours had recommended a rolling pin with thickness rings. Wow, why didn't we think of that? So, I'm off to the internet again for some recommendations. Again, wood, metal, plastic? What is the thickness of the rings and the length of the roller? After researching, we decided on the Geesta Adjustable Wood Rolling Pin with 5 Thickness Rings. (What we liked: We liked the measurements 14" in length for the roller and 23" in length with the rings and handles, and 5 ring sizes were all we needed. That gave enough space for larger items and kept our hands at a comfortable distance apart. Also, we like the wood since it accepts flour more easily when rolling out the dough; we don't get any sticks and lift onto the roller. It cleans up very nicely. It arrived quickly, and the first recipe was basic pizza dough. We selected the correct size ring for the pizza, rolled it out, and placed it in the oven. Perfect! Wow, there is even texture and cooking time throughout the entire pizza. Since then, we have cooked bread, cookies, and pies all with the same result: even thickness, even cooking, and a noticeably better texture when eating. Our guests have also noted the same results. It is another great, inexpensive, high-quality purchase that we immediately put to use, and we will continue to find new ways to improve our culinary hobby because of it. Enjoy!

Easy to use, love it
As someone who bakes a lot, this item is great. I have tried the slide on bands which are not user friendly especially as your hands age. I would not recommend submersing/soaking it in water. I would wipe it with a wet cloth. It is easy to store if you take off the handles. Love this item.

Nice product, great customer service.
This is just dandy, and as a new baker I look forward to getting a handle on my crust and cookie thicknesses. You know how it is - you wonder if the middle of the crust is the same thickness as it looks from the edge. I realized while I was rolling out the Christmas cookies that I needed something better. The product is great quality - nothing flimsy about it. Nice weight to the pin (although I did have to take a little sandpaper to it and give it a good coating of cutting board wax before using). Measurements are accurate within baking tolerance. It rolls smoothly, just a little different than my mother's 1950's pin with the free-spinning handles that you grip through the roll; these are fixed so your hands just kind of roll along the top of the handles. You are also limited in that the final flattened dough cannot exceed the width of the pin with the discs attached, but it's a generous 14" so it will accommodate a normal-sized piecrust. Without the discs the handles provide additional rolling surface. Customer service for this product is the real selling point, though. The first pin I received had a flaw that kind of threw the whole thing off. There was a little card in the box giving contact info if there was a problem. The response to my email was immediate; in just a few days I had a complete replacement. They were outstanding, pleasant, and responsive. You cannot make a mistake in choosing this product.

Great for consistent dough thickness
I really like this rolling pin. It makes rolling dough at a consistent thickness very easy! There are multiple options for thicknesses. It seems well made and looks like it will last. I did apply a thin coating of food grade mineral oil to the actual wooden rolling pin to help preserve it. But overall, it is a great idea! In fact, I liked it so much that I bought one for my sister (who is a better baker than I am) and she really liked it too.

Happy baker happy tummy maker
I have been baking all my life. I went to culinary academy to be a pastry chef and that was back in 2001 just to give you a clue of how old I am. This product by far is the best rolling pin I have ever used. It's streamline so it gives you that French rolling pin vibe except for the light gripping handles. The guides that come with the rolling pin are thick and plastic so they don't bend like other rolling pins that have small silicone rings that bend or move. The measurements on the rolling pin its self is a added bonus along with the wooden block that you can use for holding your rolling pin so you can avoid the pin rolling off and hitting your feet. It's easy to use and it looks just like the picture but better!

Other than it smelling like used cooking oil when I opened the box, it seems like a pretty good roller. I'm sad that the handles don't roll independently of the bar, but I knew that before I bought it, so I won't hold it against it haha. Everything looked clean and unused, but the smell really throws me off. Hopefully after a couple of uses, that will fade. I'm guessing they use a food grade lubricant for the rubber handle moulds. The wooden pin is definitely brand new though, zero doubts, not a mark on it. I really like that this came with a 1/2" guide. That was 100% the deciding factor for me in buying this specific one. Would love to see an expansion set be made available with even thicker step up options too.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. It's perfect. So well made, easy to use, good quality. I use it for rolling out clay for ceramics, and I love the precision of the different rings. I'm sure it would be great for baking too.

1/4 inch perfectly rolled out cookies. Im always guessing how thick my dough is and now I dont have to. This rolling pin is fantastic. I only wish there was a 1 inch spacer as well, I like to make scones and the 1 inch would be perfect for that. Otherwise cookie making season this year will be so much easier.

I am impressed with the quality of the rolling pin. Having the thickness guides attached was super helpful and made cookie preparation with young ones much easier! My 5yo nephew loves to roll out dough and normally I’d have to hover and eventually take over so it wouldn’t be too thin, but with this he was able to be more independent with the task which he just adored. Loosing 1 star only because 1) I wish it came with more than 5 options for thickness guides, and 2) the rolling pin mount/phone holder is not functional as it is not angled properly so that one can see the phone screen to follow a recipe when it’s mounted. Still a worthwhile purchase, but has some room for improvement.

Finally, it is not a roll of the dice to see which cookies will or will not burn! One of my greatest challenges was getting my dough to an even and correct thickness. I love this easy to use, easy to clean rolling pin. It arrived securely in a styrofoam cushioned box which can also be used to store the items. Highly recommend this item especially for novice bakers like myself!
