Overall very pleased ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for night photography *by I***R on 31 August 2024* I bought this for night photography as most head torches with both white and red beams are too dim with the red. This is bright, even on the dimmer settings. A third even dimmer setting would have been nice. Besides the brightest and dimmer settings, a rapid flashing setting will attract attention, but not be used anywhere near someone with epilepsy. You must scroll past that to turn the light off. The beam changes from a narrow square to a wide circular spread by pulling the outer sleeve of the lamp. The light tilts on a ratchet; there are six positions. You can also remove the battery pack from the head strap and, with the use of a hex key, remove the lamp from it too. It comes with 2 x TR 18650 3200mAH 3.7V (larger than AA) rechargeable batteries. These charge in the unit via a micro-USB socket. That lost this a star; it should have been the more modern and ubiquitous USB-C socket.
