Does this package really come with 5mp cameras? I looked up the product number elsewhere and everything I find says the cameras are 4mp

Hi Sean, this is definitely a 5MP camera system, it's our new release in the year of 2018. It has the same appearance as our 4MP cameras. The 5MP camera is with 2560x1920 resolution while 4MP is with 2560x1440.

Can this system be easily set up without streaming to the company's servers? are the directions included for achieving this?

Yes. The system does not need any setup to have it stream online or local live view. 1. Local Live View on Monitor: Just power on the NVR and plug the cameras to the ports, they will stream video.2. Streaming online: The system comes with UID, which goes through its highest secured server to transit data directly from the NVR to your PC Reolink Client or REOLINK app. anytime and anywhere. Can i use a 5-port gigabit poe switch in the home network to connect 4 cameras (instead of using the poe ports of nvr for cameras)?

Short answer, Yes. Long answer. Absolutely positively yes. You can even use a POE Injector. It does however beg the question as to why you would have thought that it won't work. The systems NVR regardless of how many POE ports it has on it can support up to 32 cameras. IE: if you have 20 cameras and a 4 port NVR, you will need 16 more POE injectors or 16 more ports on an POE switch or any combination that equals 16.

Can wifi camera connect to NVR ??

Ditto on the good luck. I purchased a RLC-511W. It's installed 15 feet up on my garage. It hasn't worked well since I put it up. It's my understanding that the camera connects to the NVR via the router. I've now purchased a SD card hoping that I can at the least review footage when I have an incident but I doubt it.
