Perfect cart for my acoustic guitar, amp and gig case. It’s surprisingly sturdy and well made. The wheels are the smallest of any of their carts, but frankly, they work just fine. Probably not good if you transport stuff over turf or loose material, but for sidewalks and driveways, they’re more than enough. If you’re tall, know that you’ll probably have to lean over to push or pull it. The handles on either end are different lengths but even the longer of the two isn’t all that tall. I’m 5’7” so it isn’t an issue for me. If you’re 6’ or more, you might want to look at one of the bigger models. I’d measure from the floor, and see if the advertised height of the longest side reaches up high enough for you. See if it’s an issue. If I was designing it, I’d include some sort of catch or retainer to snap and hold it together when folded. As it is, I use a bungee cord to keep the handles attached to the frame when it’s folded up. Not a deal breaker, but it could really use that feature. Magnets, spring clip... something. About opening and closing the handles... This is their smallest and narrowest cart. So the handle width on the short end is only about 8” wide. The reason that matters is that, to open and close the handles, there is an installed cable you pull on to bend in the bottom of the handle to get it past the stop/lock pins on the frame. There isn’t a lot of clearance to get past the lock pins and so the narrower side handle takes a pretty good amount of force on the cable to pull and hold so you can pivot the handle into place. The longer side is wider and bends in easier. The short side is more work. A bigger cart would be easier, but this size works for me, so I’ve just had to live with it and learn its quirks. Bottom line, it’s a really good cart. It’s small, narrow, lightweight, has surprisingly good wheels and casters and will hold a ridiculous amount of weight. It’ll expand in length and hold a bunch of gear. It’s really good and maybe great, but it’s not perfect. One other upgrade I’d encourage the designers to explore would be to install some plastic glide strips to the underside of the skid area on the frame in front of the rear wheels. There’s not a lot of clearance under the cart in that area and you might end up lifting the front and dragging the back a bit to get it over a step or something. A plastic glide on the frame would protect the edges of a step from the metal frame until the wheels can get where they need to be in getting over a rise. Just my two cents worth. But it’s still an easy 5-star rating.

Just got it and it seems to be quality. I do wish that the two handles locked in a way where there was no play. They wiggle a little but they are still solid based on my test below. I loaded this thing up with 16 flats of 12 gauge ammo (see pic and video). Each box weighs 22lbs making this a 352lbs load. The cart was easy to pull over carpet and still swiveled/turned fine. I lifted the rear end by the handle to turn a corner and it felt solid - not like I was about to lose a toe. Install was easy. You definitely want a set of channel pliers for installing the front casters - pliers not included in box. I looked at wagon carts, flat bed carts, etc when shipping for this and this seemed to be the both the strongest and most compact option within the sub $150 arena. Happy with my choice and would recommend so far.

I routinely perform on solo sax with backing tracks. Recently, I scaled up from a single powered loudspeaker for my backing tracks to a pair of QSC-K12's (which rock), and even some nice mics and a small mixing board for when I'm convening a jazz trio or quartet. I realized that I needed a cart instead of my collapsable dolly. I heard good things about rock-n-roller, so after doing some measuring, I went with this smallest and lightest model. It arrived (very promptly) with some minor quality control issues. First, on the large real wheel axles, there are to be a pair of holes drilled opposite each other thru which one inserts a pin then you splay out the tips with pliers so it stays in place, and keeps the wheel on the axle. One of the holes was not drilled opposite the other across the axle, so Malaysian wage-slave decided to drill a second hole adjacent to the first, creating a figure eight super-hole. Not a big deal, since I could splay out the pin tabs one to each hole. After applying light grease to the axles as suggested, I found that one wheel will spin freely on the axle, but the other one has some resistance and will only do a single 360. Again, annoying but a mere trivial drag on operation of the cart relative to the heft of the cart fully loaded and gravity. Finally, one of the thick metal 90-degree tabs on the frame, that forms the notch to keep the smaller U-shaped handle in place in the upright locked position, was formed too narrow for the shaft of the U-handle to snap and rest all the way inside it. So, I had to apply tape to the tab to protect the finish, and use a large wrench and brute strength to bend it out slightly. Now, the U-handle will slap all the way in place into the notch when upright. I could get it done, but girly-girl shopper might need to enlist a strong set of hands to do this. My first gig with this had me schlepping my stuff an unexpected half-block away at an outdoor mall gig, and the cart did the job fine. Now that its all good to go, I'm basically happy with it, and like others here, it strikes me as solidy-built, but hoping it will hold up over time- especially the wheels. If it doesn't, I'll revisit this review.

Makes it a lot easier to move my DJ equipment at events. Very easy to move around

Love it! Had just a few assembly issues, but I was able to work through them. I use it as a makeshift refuse and recycle bin under cabinet roller and it works perfectly. I don't intend to use it for other reasons, but it is sturdy enough and adaptable enough to do so.

I’ve had this amazing little compact cart since 2017. Initially, I’d put a total of 450 pounds of gear on this cart regularly, now my gear is more condensed, weighing in at around 220 pounds, despite the wear and tear, it’s still going strong. My typical gear used to be two 45 pound speakers, a 90 pound subwoofer, a DJ Deck flight case, as well as a live sound mixer in a flight case, a four panel DJ Facade, two hydraulic lift stages and a set of moving LED lights. After a few years of DJing with this setup, my gear became far more condensed due to increased back pain from an accident. My current gear consists of an EV Evolve 50m and an Evolve 50, a two panel DJ Facade, and a lightweight Numark MixTrack Platinum FX in a matching flight case, which is used in place of my far heavier, more professional Numark NV 2 that’s in a much larger flight case. My live sound mixer only goes out on Karaoke nights, while my lighter gear is used for weddings and DJ nights. Regardless of what’s on here, this cart is rugged and convenient, especially when it’s folded up into my Nissan Murano LE where all of my gear fits into the trunk with one of the seats down in a streamlined Tetris like configuration that still allows me to see out of the Murano’s narrow back window. This cart only gave me one issue since 2017 which is difficult to fault it for, hence my 5 star review. The front right wheel of the cart hit a slight crack in a cement sidewalk, given the highly uneven weight distribution, the front left castor wheel came off, spilling out tiny metal beads which are used to keep the smooth wheel rotations on track. One of my best friends went to Home Depot with my cart while I was DJing a wedding, and he essentially replaced the wheel with a gray castor wheel that’s the exact same size as the original yellow one. As noted, aside from this incident that’s a fault of the cracked concrete sidewalk, this cart has been one of my most indispensable DJ tools since 2017. I also purchased the official carpeted wooden plank add-on, which added far more use to this amazing little cart, since it doubles as a way to bring groceries into my apartment. The trip upstairs would be difficult without this cart given that I’m in a permanent garage parking spot that’s fairly far away from the ramp to the building’s elevator, and then my apartment is the last one at the end of a long hallway. All in all, this cart paid itself off after my first DJ event, cutting my pack up times in half by reducing the amount of trips down to two. If you DJ, you need this cart as a part of your set of indispensable DJ tools.

I've been seeking something like this for a long, long time. I gig as a single artist (most times) and have been looking for something that will carry all that I need from the parking lot to the venue in one trip. This is it! It's light, smooth rolling, easy to manipulate, has a very useful variable size feature. Once the Jeep is loaded with my gear the folded R2 fits neatly on top of it all. My first adventure with the R2 was one where I needed to carry a small acoustic amp, pedalboard/gear bag, banjo, two acoustic guitars and a ukulele. Also threw on a mic stand, two guitar stands and a tablet stand/holder. Some suitably sized bungee cords held it all in place and with a few more of those I could have stacked even more stuff on it. I was really surprised with the smoothness of the roll. Where I live in Japan, the streets I need to use are cobbled and the sidewalks are tiled with "paths for the blind". On other carts I've used in this situation would just shake the crap out of the cart and gear. Not so with the R2. It's absolutely amazing! If you're of average height like me you'll have to bend over quite a bit to "drive" this thing. The tallest handle height is restricted by the collapsed size. This is not a criticism but an observation. You cannot go wrong with this cart. The quality and usefulness of the R2 cannot be beat at this or any other price.

Amazing little trolly! Speeds my load in and load outs for my mobile DJ gig significantly! The folding so small is great for storage at home or in a truck or vehicle! Can’t go wrong with this product!

Chariot trop cher pour ce que c'est, le pliage / dépliage est beaucoup trop compliqué. La qualité est plutôt moyenne, la largeur trop juste pour déplacer des meubles. Une simple planche à roulette à moins de 50€ est bien plus pratique.

This may not be the best photo I have but it does exceed my expectations! It does the job for its size and can take punishments from stones and uneven pavements. Smooth and so light that it fots my hatch back car. Worth the price!
