The patellar pressure pad design is very good — the shape is accurate, and the materials are breathable, durable, and feel medical-grade. The targeted compression under the kneecap itself works well. However, the original strap is a major flaw. Even when properly tightened, it does not hold as soon as you bend your knee. The moment you flex the knee, the strap loosens and slides, making the support ineffective. This happens immediately, not only after long hours or sweating. Because of this, the product is not functional as designed for normal movement. My workaround: I replaced the original strap by threading a flat shoelace through the side loops and tying it behind my knee. With this simple fix, the support finally stays in place and the patellar pressure pad does its job. In short: the front pressure pad and materials are worth it, but the strap design needs improvement. Without a secondary strap, it simply does not stay on.
