Dab the sides of the tray dry, and put it in the freezer. It's pretty easy and works well. Just make sure to do it over the sink or on a towel, as some water will escape your tray (it's supposed to happen, don't worry).I think the people who gave it one star must be trying to fill it via the tiny holes, which absolutely won't work and defies common sense.
