Magic! Worth having in your kit as a stand by
This little thing is magic! I struggled yesterday to get a steel bolt out and then gave up mighty frustrated for not having completed my project. Order this and was delivered overnight by Amazon and then 60 seconds with this and out comes the broken/worn head bolt. Worth having in the kit as a standby ... I now have one!

Worked well but unfortunately some broke in the process and weren't able to self tap them in
Worked well but the quality not the best as some did snap

Not upto even the smallest job
Quite literally useless! The drill bits, as someone else in the reviews mentioned, are not fit for purpose. You might as well not use a drill bit they literally can not penetrate even the softest metal. I have had a snapped M8x10 bolt in a part, i piloted a central hole (2mm, with Bosch bits) but then thought I’d wait for these to arrive before continuing. Thinking I’ll use the right kit for the job. I get the kit and select the smallest size drill bit so I could then use the corresponding sized Easy Out The bit, approximately 2.5/3mm, wouldn’t even start to enlarge the hole, a job requiring minimal effort as it’s only making an existing hole bigger. I think okay, I’ll use a much bigger drill bit and use a bigger Easy Out but again this drill bit would not make any headway into the metal. I then used a Bosch bit to make a hole and moved on to using the Easy Out. Utter utter rubbish, the Easy Out snapped in the material at the first sign of pressure. Luckily I did manage to remove the snapped part from the bolt. Quite clearly a manufacturing fault or more likely just cheap metal as the broken off part hadn’t even bit that hard into it. To complete the job I’ve had to drill out the rest of the bolt and retap the hole, something I should have done in the first place and saved the time and cash. I mean they aren’t expensive but that’s not really the point. If they aren’t fit for purpose then they could quite easily cause more damage to an already existing problem.

Good enough but not for severely stuck
Finally used these in anger with a rusted bold, the drill and the extractor worked well, but I couldn't extract the bolts as they were just too rusty and I didn't want to break the tool

Extracted broken screw, no problem.
I've always wanted a screw extractor set, and when I broke off a screw in a vintage camera, I decided to buy this one. All the bits you need included and worked a charm. It was a rather nasty little screw that broke and this set extracted it without an issue. Not sure how to use it? YouTube is your friend.

Variable quality but usable
Throw the drills away, all they do is polish. The extractor I tried worked well, although the smallest size is difficult to turn

great little set of extractors
had a 20+ year old Ikea bedroom cabined for which the screw heads were worn out. These extractors worked really well and we were able to remove all the screws - lifesaver

Not up to the job.
I used the kit to attempt to extract a 4mm bolt that had sheared from the bracket securing a bike stand to the frame of my bike. The drill was unable to make a sufficient hole in the bolt for the extractor bit to grip it. Although described as a screw extractor, the information provided by the supplier indicated that it could also be used for bolts. I think that this is misleading.
