How do i get the music synced up like i want?

It does it by itself by sound really cool

If i only wanted two led bars, could i cut off the other two?

There is 4 strips. They plug in with a connector you can unplug and leave the other two plugged in. If you ever need extras you got two extras strips you can plug in. They have a connector that unhooks so no cutting is needed. Plus you’ll have extras. You can definitely only run two at a time and save the others
