These replaced old rickety wicker seat counter stools. These are much more sturdy and made fairly well. My only disappointment was that the color was much darker than expected but it turns out that they match via contrast very nicely and make the room look classy. They were packed very well and no issues out of the box. Assembly was a concern after reading all the other reviews that stated mislabeled parts and flaws in the legs. We followed the instructions, sorted all the parts and everything was labeled correctly and went together perfectly. in the stretchers there were some burrs on the dowel pegs that once sanded off they fit well into the holes. It took less than an hour for two people to setup both chairs, just take your time and follow the instructions step by step. One had an ever so slightly shorter leg so we pulled out the plastic floor tacks from the bottom of the legs and placed felt pads to protect our hardwood floor and one leg had to have two pads to make it level. Easy fix, no wobble, no problem. I didn't expect perfection at this price point but the quality is much better than I expected. Overall they are very nice chairs.

They are great chairs and they are very reasonable priced. I bought 4 of them (2 boxes) and came early. They were well packaged and are solid, look great and are comfortable (I'm sitting on one as I type this). The only issue I had was putting them together. The back comes as one piece. the two bars that go from front to back I believe have a top and bottom that isn't explained in the instructions. The knob that fits in the wood it turned on one side and straight on the other. Take your time putting them in correctly. If they don't fit, don't force it and turn them. Otherwise, putting them together was easy. I attached pictures of the box and contents, how they look by a counter from side and back. I'm very happy with these counter stools! They look like the picture and are a beautiful deep cherry type color with a black seat.

These chairs are awesome! Heavy, durable solid wood pieces was everything and more than what I wished for or expected. After reading so many reviews regarding the soft, light, lumber of other 24" seat height chairs of this type which also broke easily... These chairs are far from that. Durable, strong and well made... Assembly was so easy. Took me less than an hour to assemble both chairs and my one roommate who is a top chef here in New York City told me these chairs were stronger and better looking than the ones they had at his Resturant which cost $300 a piece! Now that really says something to me... They are beautiful and well made... Just be careful when openning the packaging if using a utility knife... scissors would be better, you don't want to accidentally scratch this wood with a blade. I know this wasn't an Amazon "Prime" Product which is what I was looking for when I was searching, but the shipping on these chairs was FREE; the price was a little over $100 for two chairs, but let me assure you... It is well worth it! "Coaster Fine Furniture" I applaude you for supplying such a wonderful product at a reasonable and affordable price!

Once assembled, these chairs are attractive and very sturdy additions to our kitchen counter. We purchased the same chairs from this company about 12 years ago and they were not constructed nearly as well as the current version. However, the assembly of the chairs was not a smooth process. The instructions need considerable improvement as they just showed a diagram with letters representing the hardware pointing to the parts of the chair. While parts of the chair had stickers with right or left designations, they did not indicate if the designations were from the front view or rear view. That did cause some delay, but the biggest problem was a missing bolt hole in the corner of the chair. We had to purchase some other fasteners to compensate. While the first chair ran into these issues, the second chair assembled in around 15 minutes. If the company prepared better directions and paid more attention to quality control, each chair could have been assembled in the 15 minute time frame.

My wife and I almost didn't order these chairs due to some of the reviews. We are glad we changed our minds. There was some delay in the shipping. After a few days I emailed the seller inquiring about this. I receive a prompt email stating that one of our boxes was found to be slightly defective prior to shipping and that the seller had to wait for more to arrive to be able to provide a good matching set. This was encouraging to us. We were offered the option to cancel the order. We elected to wait and the order arrived a few days late. The chairs arrived in great condition and were exactly as advertised (brown with tan seats). All of the parts and hardware were included, properly labeled and well packaged. The assembly was quick and very simple. These chairs obviously are not high-end quality furniture BUT from 3 feet away you would hardly know it. They are pretty well finished, heavy and sturdy chairs. Their perceived value far exceeds their cost! I would definitely buy them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

These chairs are beautiful. The wood feels sturdy and heavy. The quality is surprising. They are very comfortable and offer great back support. Here are some tips on building them as the instructions were not clear. It took us nearly an hour to build the first chair just because the we couldn't figure out how to place the right and left legs along with the right and left stretchers. We finally realized the right and left sides of the chair according to the directions are when you are looking at the chair head on. We were trying to assemble it with the right/left sides according to the chair itself which is why the stretchers never settled in nicely into the holes. Once we figured that out the second chair was built in under 17 minutes. I bought these chairs to go with the Jofran table also available on Amazon and the wood matched perfectly! I'm very happy with the purchase.

I like the chair for the price. Decent quality although the seat cushioning is not overly comfortable but you can't expect luxury style chairs for this price. My big problem was that the three I ordered all had different problems. Each box was a different surprise. The first box was ok, all parts were present and packaged properly. The problem was one corner of the chair seat did not have predrilled holes to accommodate the mounting of the chair leg. The next box had missing hardware. The third box had too much hardware and was previously opened with screws and washers found all over the box. In the end amazingly I was able to piece together enough hardware for all 6 chairs. So at this point 5 of the chairs are complete and one still needs holes drilled to install the legs. I am a mechanic so it is not that big of an inconvenience for me but for most this would be a major headache. As you can see I tried drilling but do not have a large enough drill bit to accommodate this fix. Otherwise, the chairs are great for the money and easy to install.

I was looking to replace my adjustable barstools (on a chrome swivel base in the photo) because one of them broke and then I read that they have a 250 pound weight limit, so that's why. I looked all over for some chairs that would be decently contemporary looking and also support 300 pounds without breaking. These are totally not what I thought I would buy, but I really really liked the look of them and that they have such a high back. We have high ceilings, so I really don't want to buy stools that look like they belong in a shack/dorm room. I also didn't want to buy chairs that wouldn't last when we changed decor. These are subtle being in this nice espresso shade and I'm sitting in them right now, so they're comfortable af. I didn't buy these for this reason, but I snapped a picture of the bottom of these chairs because they don't have anti-flammable chemicals in the foam! I was reading about how bad that is for your health and was delighted to find this chair doesn't happen to have them. One tip I have is to definitely follow the instructions in order. I didn't for the legs part and ended up with a wobbly chair. I untightened the bolts, sat in the chair, then retightened and the one that was wobbly wasn't wobbly anymore. Another thing is to buy heavy duty furniture pads for the bottoms. I cut little circles out, stuck them to the leg bottoms, and the chairs don't make marks on the wood floor anymore.
