Glass Packed baffle insert for RoadsterSport 3 Mufflers only! RoadsterSport mufflers ship with removable baffles but for those that want even more we offer these glass packed baffles. Each unit is about 7 inches long and acts like a small additional muffler that slides into the tip of your RoadsterSport. All stainless steel construction for years of driving pleasure. This is for folks that want to bring the sound DOWN for longer trips, etc. Uses same retaining screw as stock baffles. Sorry, does NOT fit older RoadsterSport 1 or II, RACE, or any other muffler. Quiets down the Racing Beat exhaust to factory like volume and pleasing sound. No more 3K RPM drone and no appreciable loss in performance. In fact butt dyno actually feels boost come on sooner (lower) in RPM band now where its usable for everyday driving. Would be curious to see a dyno run with and without as physics dictate diminished performance and power however my rear end of which is used to 20 years and 6 Miatas later of experience says otherwise. Either way I am thrilled!!!! Dont let the "it only fits Roadster Sport Exhausts only" liability propaganda fool you. It wirks and it wirks morethan well!! All thats needed is one 12 mm size bolt head by 2 inches long and your set after drilling a smaller pilot hole. Keeps this item from rocket shipping off the end of your tailpipe . Enjoy!!! Very subtle change, but it has a nice and mello tone to it. Provides a bit less droning at hwy speeds.

Does the job it's suppossed to
Dampens the sounds so that it is just above that of a stock exhaust.
