Fits in between my tv and wall mount saving the day I bought a new tv and put it on the wall were my old one was and realized that they moved the ports around and my mount goes right over the optical outlet.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot for what I was paying for. Does the fiber optic carry the signal? Yes great move on :-D Other items of note -- It snaps securely into the Digital Audio port (check) and snaps to the cable (check). Overall very happy with this coupler for a narrow use case of just wanting to bend the connection without bending the cable.

Cheap. Effective for a decent amount of time. Overall quality is lacking but it’s straight from China! It did really well until it developed an intermittent sound. Stopped using it and it solved my skipping sound issue. i would buy it again but I just got a longer optical cable.

I have a Toslink port on a wall plate that just happens be right behind a bookcase. For my needs, this adapter is perfect. The adapter is just a little bit thicker than my baseboard, but I'm able to push the bookcase as close as I was before adding the Toslink connection. The adapter is able to freely swivel 360 degrees at the male connection point, which makes it extremely flexible. You can rotate it to aim it in whichever direction you want the Toslink cable to go. Most importantly, the connection seems solid. I've had no issues with the adapter jeopardizing the integrity of my digital audio connection. The only con I could see is if the bulk around the adapter's connection is too large for some devices that have a bunch of connectors close to each other. I think you would have the same issue if used any of the Toslink cables with "premium" connectors, which seem slightly larger. Thankfully, for my needs, that's not the case.

I have a media cabinet that isn't super deep, so not having a Toslink sticking straight out of the back is critical for the receiver to sit properly. So far so good, may or may not have slight sound quality dip but may be in my head.

Product worked as designed if connected directly to a receiver. My only complaint that brought it down from a 5 star was that the plastic trim is a little thick (right around the bend) to where the adapter couldn't snap into to my keystone wall plate so the signal would carry. Given a 90 degree connection would be implying some kind of tight installation I would hope that the design would make it a little more flexible. If they extended the end just 1/2 mm the product would have most likely worked great. The problem very well could have been due to my wall plate. Great idea that hopefully gets refined in the future.

I had a couple of tight spots with hard to reach TOSLINK connections. Rather than bend the cable too much (which has proven disastrous to me in the past), I went looking for a good right angle adapter. This particular model has a swivel piece which allows the input side to swivel a full 360, which is great not only for fitting odd angles, but helps reduce stress on the cable. I ordered several, and they all worked like a charm! I posted a photo of the adapter, and included the dimensions of the body in the picture notes. PROS: * Great price * 360 swivel for use at any angle, reduces cable stress * Doesn't diminish/attenuate the signal noticably (I have 2 of these being used with 30' of TOSLINK without issue) * The fiber end is polished * Compact size allows for placement in tight spots

Toslink cable wasn't sitting correctly and was under strain. This right angle adapter was ideal and took the strain off the cable and the connector. Great product at a good price.

Justo lo que buscaba para solucionar el problema de la fibra (toslink) en la parte de atrás de la televisión. Cuando uno monta la pantalla a la pared, muchas veces los cables se llegan a doblar y con una fibra óptica hay que tener mayor cuidado, lo bueno es que este adaptador soluciona ese detalle. Muy feliz con mi compra.

Tengo un Receptor de Audio y Video dentro de un mueble para la TV que mandé hacer con las medidas exactas. Desgraciadamente olvidé incluir las medidas de los conectores al mandar a hacer el mueble. Como ustedes saben los conectores de cables ópticos son muy grandes y esto no permitía que cerraran las puertas del mueble. Afortunadamente encontré este conector y mi problema fue resuelto. Funciona de maravilla!
