It is a very fine grain black sand. The bag was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but I'm not good with calculating volumes

Not pure white, but is nice clean fine sand
Does not sparkle that much. It is not pure white, but a cream white. I will add stardust glitter to it. Here in this photo, you can see the white sheet compared to the sand. It is OK and nice fine sand with no debris. I was looking for more glitter, and a heavier crystal-y sand. But if you want a very fine sand, this might be for you.
