Nice, compact camping mess kit
This set has everything you need for preparing meals in the wilderness for 2-3 people and is very compact and light carrying.

Kettle is lightweight, packable, fits nicely on small portable stoves
Things I like about the camping mess kit. All of the pans/pots are nested into each other. Eating utensils & bowls are included. Pots/pans are lightweight & easily fits on small camping stoves The metal that the pans were made of did not melt or smoke when a fire was burning hot Good product

Good set!
These are light weight, cook well, and big enough for two people, you can cook for more, just a little harder. You have to watch the handles and keep them from flipping back into space. My husband Dwayne paying attention and burnt one end of a handle. It still closes, so all is good, just added some character to it. But all around, it does well, and is small and tidy.

Love this set
I bought this to replace an Ozark trail set I had for a few years: the nonstick coating boiled off one day when I used a camp stove with it versus a butane stove. I love all of the pieces this comes with. Before I only had a pot I used in multiple ways, now I have a frying pan and two pots. It lets me be a bit more varied when making meals at camp. The plates that come with it are pretty nice too. Everything nests inside itself well and travels easily. The only complaint I have is that the handles are a bit loosey goosey on these pans, so when you're going to put them away they kind of get unruly, and they can move around easily. But otherwise, this was totally worth the price at the time I bought it and I'm beyond pleased with the purchase.

Great for emergency kit, and convenient for everyday food storage instead of tupperware.
I got the set with three pots, three lids, and one fry pan (plus a bunch of throw-away accessories). I like pots like these for hiking and car emergency kits. In any situation where staying longer than planned, ability to boil water is a huge plus. Good lightweight and inexpensive for this purpose. I have also liked Open Country 2 quart with teflon, but it's never available. Also useful to put hot foods, straight off the grill or fry pan, which would blister plastic storage. Butter, oil, and fats wash off much more easily than plastic, and they dry faster too. Of course you could just put food on a plate, let cool off, then put in ziplock or bread bag.... What about glass, titanium, and stainless? Stainless options are appealing but considerably heavier, and usually a little more expensive. Glass can microwave but heavy, no handles, and can break. Titanium is uncessesarily expensive to me.

Plastic handles = problematic
Pros: Lightweight. Nice sized pots for one or two people. The compression/nesting capability is great. Cons: I used a Bio-Light Camp Stove and it melted the handle in under 2 minutes of cook time. So, if you’re using a butane stove or campfire, these aren’t going to be practical. They MIGHT work with a smaller iso stove.
