I finally got to use them in a game last week with him in a 10-player game and these chips are great! I've actually a little jealous right now because in searching for my own set of home chips I've been a little disappointed with sets I got for myself (both the Crown Casino 13.5g chips and Claysmith Showdowns).These chips had almost flawless quality control (there was only one chip that was mislabeled, 1 out of 500, that's not a deal breaker (the Crown Casino's had stickers off-center and falling off, plus they had a weird chalky texture I still couldn't get rid of after multiple times- the Spartans felt great right out of the gates). The colors are vibrant and contrasting so no muddy pots like the Showdowns have- you know what's in the pot without having to closely inspect. They also have nice edges (Showdowns had a lot of sharp flashing for some reason) to where they lay flat, stack well, and are comfortable to the touch.Their price point is pretty low- just barely over $0.20 a chip, but they feel miles ahead of similar priced chips out there. The case they came in was sufficient as well, it's not a Lamborghini of cases, but it's not supposed to be. It's solid enough to do the trick without worry. The cards and dice too. My ONLY real gripe is the dominations stop at $100 and there are no fractions (less than $1)... so we had to get a little creative with math for our tournament and then we just used the chips as all the same value for our cash game after.I still give them 5-stars though, especially for the price. These are great for a small game and unless you absolutely need casino-grade chips OR want to go the custom route. Also, if you need the higher denoms or fracs- they are available for order by themselves. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good! *by T***R on September 8, 2020* After searching far and wide for a casual poker set, I came across this gem. The top searches result in fat cat and davinci, but they range from $50-$80. However, they have hit and miss reviews, although many (thousands). I was hesitant due to the poor case reviews. This case was ok, difficult to tell from pictures, but corners aren't exactly lined up. Hopefully the case will hold up. The chips are excellent, I like the sparta rather than the skull and guns from the same set but "outlaw". Excellent weight to the chips, great colors. Denominations easier to read than outlaw set. Outlaw set had good reviews so went with this one for the better design in my opinion. Would have preferred no denominations but I usually use these denominations anyways. I was looking at fat cat, but the $60 something price got removed, so it was around $80, and for $20 more this appears to be a superior set. By going up to the $100 range, appears to be better sets available. Give it a try! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get a different case. Very nice poker chips *by A***R on August 29, 2024* These are pretty heavy and built well. Colors aren't as bright as it is in the stock photos. They have a really nice smooth color, feel great.As far as the case goes, it's ok. I wouldn't trust my life on it.
