This unit is only rated for 1 ton but for my application, this was way more than enough. I've wanted one of these tools for a while but never wanted to pay the price I see in retail outlets so I was happy to find this one at a fraction of the price. The tools seems well made. I will only use it occasionally but when I need it, nothing else really does the job this does.
