Got muffler with high hopes compared to what I thought was a FM 40 series. It turns out to be exactly what I wanted and more. A quieter In-cab experience no matter how im driving it, but still has a very throaty tone. No in cab drone. I did coat it with a header rated paint for added defense through MI winters of road salt.

It is perfect....sound is great and performance is great!

Sounds great on the trucks. Nice deep sound no drone. Driving down the road it’s almost like stock. Very comfortable. When you get on it you hear the muffler. I have to cut notches in the pipes so I could use exhaust clamps. I didn’t want to to be welded on.

Aggressive sound when you put your foot in it. Otherwise very mellow

If you’re looking for a good muffler to replace one that is worn out or rusted out, this is really a great muffler gets the job done and it amplifies the sound of your car

Installed a flowmaster 40 to replace the old rotted muffler on a triton v10 motorhome, ended up being the worst sounding exhaust ive ever heard in my life. Ordered this flow fx to install before the 40, helped quiet down the system and make the note bearable.

Muffler sounds great! I had my truck essentially straight piped with the factory catalytic converters on. I couldn’t stand the droning in the cabin and was looking for an inexpensive but effective muffler. This muffler helped reduce the cabin noise significantly and the truck still sounds great. I would highly recommend this product!

Installed in place of the stock muffler on an F150 with the Gen 2 Coyote 5.0L. This muffler sounds pretty good, deep rumble, not thin or raspy. It's been on my truck for 2 winters (salt and de-icer exposure) and it still looks good. It has the typical Flowmaster drone but I don't think it's nearly as loud as I remember my previous truck with a Super 40 being. For the price it sounds pretty good and is holding up well so far.

Super happy with this. Sounds awesome. Price is better than anywhere. My neighbors might not be as happy. But it's so much quieter than my old exhaust. Has that cool rumble and no drone on the hwy. My person can actually talk to me when I'm driving........(as if I'm listening lol.)

If you’re looking for pretty mellow and slightly grumbly muffler, I think this is a pretty good option. I threw it on my Ram 1500. Sounds good on cold start and then respectable while driving. Hardly any drone at highway speed. I had a Carven straight thru muffler before it it was an absolute beast. Aggressive AF but the highway drone was obnoxious. The flowmaster is definitely a few steps below but has an all around moderate sound

Box was not in great condition but item seemed to fit description. It was three inches just too large but definitely a flow master and wish it was smaller

Sounds great. A bit quieter than I was hoping but I'm sure it'll get louder over the years. Running with cats and no resonators on my 2010 Tahoe. Absolutely no drone on the highway is a major improvement from my old thrush welded
