When I got it first, there was an awful strong smell, so I had to let it air out for at least 5 days. Definitely worth waiting for though. I find it very comfortable. I have acid reflux, so i have been wanting to try a wedge pillow for ages but was weary as I haven't always read good reviews. I also have back problems, so I need to use an orthopaedic pillow too, so the pillow actually works pretty well with the wedge. I was worried that I'd feel too high up but this isn't a concern, and I share a double bed with my partner. I have noticed that my acid reflux isn't as bad. I usually suffer every night. I also like to read in bed, so I've also turned the pillow over so that I can sit with my back to it, and I find this comfortable too. I hope that I'll get good use out of it, but I'd be happy now to spend the extra money on a more expensive one.
