I remembered how strong the command strips were for hanging canvases, and so I thought this hook would do the job nicely. I was not wrong. I checked the weight capacity before purchasing. Like all Command products, the hook came with clear instructions, which I followed to the letter. Not only does this hook take the weight of that calendar, but it has stayed in place for over 18 months now. I am so assured of its strength that I have no hesitation in lifting and rotating the calendar each month. The hook is the perfect size for the leather loops on my calendar, too. My only minor complaint is that it is grey rather than silver.
