Tackled a huge job head on and exceeded my very high expectations
Working on a DIY auto body project. I bought my Dodge Ram about 5 years ago and it came stock from the factory with 6 stainless steel panels on the bottom third of the body (on each side). Being a Dodge, I started to get some rust, so step one in fixing it was to remove the panels, and I figured as long as I had the heat gun out, I might as well take the badges off too. The badging left some adhesive residue, but nothing compared to the panels. Probably 1/4" thick and spanning the entire length of the truck from the front fenders to rear bumpers, this was going to be a pain to remove. Until someone told me about this rubber eraser wheel. It worked amazingly! It shaved it off with very little effort on my part. Luckily I had a family member with a corded drill, otherwise it would have taken a week to do with all the battery changes. I'm not going to lie and say it was a fast process, but much faster and more effective than doing it by hand. Left zero residue that I needed to clean off, besides the eraser shavings that simply wiped off by hand. The best part? It doesn't harm my paint at all. Even though I'm going to be taking it down to bare metal and re-painting the truck, it's really good to know that I could use this to take off any decals or adhesive on my family's vehicles without damaging the paint. The wheel lasted for one entire side of the truck. Which is far further than I anticipated it would. For the price, I would buy stock in this company. One of the best products I've ever seen for the purpose and very affordable. I've seen similar products in auto parts stores for over $40. In short: BUY THIS WHEEL!

Far more productive than a heat gun and plastic scrapers for large areas of sticker.
I started with a heat gun and a credit card to get a 10 year 8 inch wide stripe off of a min-cooper S. After about an hour, I had removed about 6 inches. Ugh. So a little searching turned up this kind of solution, and a little more searching found this item as (a) cheap and (b) prime elgible. So I tried it. It's still significant work, but now your progress will be measured in inches per minute, not inches per hour. It won't get into every crevice, so there will still be some scraping. And it leaves a little residue here and there that will have to be chased. But for the bulk of the sticker, it is fast and very effective to solve the majority of the problem with reasonable effort. One wheel just barely got me through the whole project (mini cooper S with full hood, roof, and hatch stripes (three) totaling about 8 inches wide, but a lot of sunroof up top. So maybe 8" x 5' total sticker removal. And I wasn't putting much effort into economizing wheel life, I was just grinding sticker off. It didn't hurt the paint one metal or fiberglass. But it did burn through if you weren't careful on a painted plastic bumper. This bumper may have been previously repainted, the paint there seemed pretty fragile. You also need a strong drill to drive this thing. A consumer or even low end contractor cordless won't drive this thing for long. A higher end cordless might, but any "plug into the wall" drill should work fine, though you will want to take some breaks to let the drill cool and to uncramp your hands anyway. So in summary, a nice economical solution (in both time and money) for the majority of a really hard problem.

Works Great
I bought this to remove a bunch of vinyl stickers from my jeep. It did the job well. I used a Ryobi cordless drill and had no issues. Be advised: the eraser makes quite a mess. It leaves tan colored eraser dust and vinyl particles all over. Not an issue for me but it may be irritating for some. While it works great it wears fast. I did both front quarters on my jeep (about 10 stickers on each) and it wore about 1/3 or better of the tool. The rubber gets very hot when you use it but does not burn the clearcoat. I suppose it could if you don't keep it moving but I did not experience that. It does leave a slight yellowish, very faint "ghost" mark on the panel in my experience. I initially tried some brake cleaner on a microfiber towel but that did not remove the residue. I used some Mcguires polishing compound on my random orbital and it came right off. My paint is fine. Overall it works great to quickly remove vinyl stickers. I would buy it again.

Works great, used a dozen.
I used these to remove my RV vinyl adhesive graphics. They work well to do so. I would agree with another reviewer who said that they do leave behind a yellow mark on a white surface. I was able to remove that yellowing with rubbing compound but that was a step I had to take anyways in order to finish my project of removing all of the oxidation on the side walls of my RV as well. After going over all of the surfaces with rubbing compound everything turned out just fantastic. There used to be Graphics all over the area where you see white. The green area is paint. I also used it to remove a dealer sticker off the bumper of my car and it worked great and did not blemish the clear coat at all nor did it leave behind a yellow residue or any residue for that matter. This is a sacrificial tool and makes quite a mess that is no big deal to clean up. For the price you can't beat these. The quality is consistent from one wheel to the next as I used 12 to complete my project. I found it unreasonable to consider purchasing a more expensive and like product. I am really happy with how my project came out in the end and I would not have been able to achieve it without using some sort of tool like this.

This wheel is perfect!
This is THE BEST WHEEL TO USE!! I work for a contractor for a car manufacturer. Lol. Trying to keep it semi-private. There are times I must remove glue/tape from bramd new paint surfaces to re-apply new pieces to make the car perfect to send from the factory to the dealership. Just stressing the importance of detail and care needed. This wheel is super easy to use. It fully removes the glue and tape stuff like it was NEVER THERE! All I do is make sure to maintain steady rpm and pressure. Moving the wheel turing clockwise always against the direction of travel. So every result is clean!! Without paint damage!! I wipe the area with alcohol pads and re-apply whatever body component I need to install. I have bought $30 wheels and they do not work like this one. I keep 2 on hand at all times. I share mine with other technicians. My current sheel is not too worn with multiple techs using it daily. It has probably been used on over 30 cars by now woth plenty of wheel to go!

Brilliant, great results.
I replaced a door on my car, the replacement had a pinstripe and none of the rest of the car does. I'm amazed at how well this tool took the pinstripe off. It did not damage the paint at all and was easy to use with a cordless drill. A few pointers though: 1) Go slow. Take your time. I cannot stress this enough. The rubber on the eraser wheel heats up from friction. You need to let it cool down frequently or you may damage your paint. It took me 45 minutes to do 1 door. 2) I had to stop to recharge my cordless drill part way through, if you're doing a whole car or large area then a corded drill might be better. 3) I used about 25% of the eraser to do 1 door. It was a very old and very stubborn pinstripe. 1 disc would not have done my entire car with this old pinstripe. Overall extremely happy with the result.

Lowest priced and best rated, performs great
Let me pre-cede this with the fact that this entire hood was sun-baked and cracked and coming off in little shards. Took me a little less than an hour to make the progress shown from picture 1 to picture 2. Great product. Huge impact. Used my Dewalt drill with 1/2โ chuck to tear the body wrap off the hood. The hood isnโt clear coated (previous owner replaced and spray painted). The burn marks on the bottom left were from an old wheel by a different company that had oblonged itself. The parts of the truck that I did hit that had clear coat on it retained some of the old adhesive. Nothing any other product could fix. After watching videos, everyone seemed to be in unison on the fact that no matter what, youโll have to use a cleaning agent to perfect the area. Word of advice; heat up an area close to an edge with the wheel(low speed) then run it side to side. Once itโs warmed up, dip to the edge of decal (make sure the wheel is turning against the edge) and watch the wheel pull it right up. Follow the same procedure working from side to side, following the edge the wheel creates. Taught my self how to do it and this wheel made it super easy.

Highly recommend for YELLOW vehicles. Not so much for a white one!!!
Giving 2 stars because it DID do a great job of removing all of the adhesive after de-badging my Silverado. However, it embedded deep yellow stains in my clear coat...Very visible yellow stains. Thankfully, I only used it on my tailgate in 3 spots (fairly large spots unfortunately). Should have just tested it on the smallest badge 1st. I was able to get the yellow out after about 15 to 20 applications of Turtlewax rubbing compound and a LOT of high pressure elbow grease. After trying to remove the adhesive on the door panel badges with my fingers and Goo-gone (wasn't going well), I decided to try the wheel again (since the stains did eventually come out). I was VERY careful to not allow the wheel to touch the paint (for more than a 1/2 second) and ran the drill at a VERY low RPM (as slow as I could get it by barely depressing the trigger). I slowly wore down the adhesive and didn't really try to get all of it for fear of staining. Got the rest of it with goo-gone. Even when used VERY carefully, I left behind a few smaller yellow stains. Though this time, it only required the rubbing compound to be applied 4-5 times...again with a lot of high pressure scrubbing. This time the stains weren't as noticeable, but it's a brand new truck and I knew they were there... and didn't want them to be. All in all, I recommend using an eraser wheel, though certainly not this 1 on a white vehicle. Spend the extra money on a better 1 (assuming they're not all made of the exact same rubber compound). Also, even then, be very slow and careful when using. ***Bumped up from 2 to 3 stars after finding another use for it. Works great for removing paint drippings and kids stickers from the floor in the house. Again, take it easy and be careful not to eat up the finish of the flooring.
