Surface Connect to USB C Charging Cable Compatible with Surface Pro 3/4/5/6/7, Surface Laptop 3/2/1,Surface Go, Surface Book1/2/3(1.8M 6ft)

I've had two Microsoft Surface laptops/tablets and both original charging cables stopped working. Time will tell if this will last, but it works great from first use. I will say I thought I had a wall adapter that would work with this and was about to return it because the light on the USB-C side would just flash and my Surface Pro 6 would cycle between charging/not charging and never actually charge. You absolutely must use this with a 15V 3A wall adapter. After searching Amazon it appears that is a minimum of 65W. I bought this one https://a.co/d/3bN15WF and it works like a charm, probably charges faster than the original.

Lol, 15 times!!! That's how many times the poor seller of this product has to print all over the packaging and product itself for all the customers that says it dosen't work and leaves a one star, THAT YOU NEED THE CORRECT TYPE OF TYPE C CHARGE BLOCK IN ORDER FOR THIS CABLE TO WORK ON YOUR SURFACE PRO!!!! LOL. Your apple type c charger will not work! Anyway, after inspecting closely ,this is a very well made product. I don't see any problems from it with proper care as with any other type of charge cable. There is one added feature I notice that is nice compared to the original, the white led on the computer connector side turns blue when it has reached 100% charge. Also if you are having problems finding a correct charge block the seller also sells one that has known compatibility. I already had two charge blocks with correct spec and only needed the cable. Very satisfied!

Just received my order. It works. But the magnet is not as strong as the original one. When used with a case, the magnet bond is not very secure.

Switched to this plus a power delivery capable of providing the output to USB-C as instructed. Seems to charge fine but after using this, I get the dreaded unable to turn on my Surface Pro issue which I never had before in the almost 6 years I've owned my Surface Pro 3. None of the usual suggestions for fixing worked (ex. Hold power down for 45s, then power and volume for 15s, then power button as normal). Finally got it to work after switching to OG cable and keeping power button in down position for hours with rubber bands. Tried to go back to this cable and now I'm back to not being able to power up and this time around, I'm unable to turn on after many hours of various attempts.

Works great. Game changer for traveling with my surface computer. I bought one for my daughter and she loves it

This works fine, but if you're looking at this you probably don't know (or at least I didnt) that most all these Microsoft products can charge through their USB C port, so at this price, this cable probably isn't the best option.

I purchased this cord after deciding I wanted to use a smaller, more portable power source than the one that shipped with my Surface tablet. After finding an appropriate GaN charger, I paired it with this cord and it works perfectly.

I needed a cable to charge the Microsoft surface Pro that I use for work on the road and this works perfect. The USB C Plug goes right into the vehicle input, and I can charge this laptop in the car with no problems.

When out away from an AC power point and the battery is down in my Surface Pro, I am able to provide power via my Android phone power pack and this cable. Also I do not have to carry the Surface Pro's power supply as I can use and USB-C charger to provide the required power.

This works great for charging a Surface Book 2 without needing the keyboard base. Just plug it into a 45 watt charger. Keep in mind that data can’t be transferred with this cable though.

Fonctionne comme l’original et je suis vraiment content de l’avoir trouvé. Seul bémol: je n’aime vraiment pas la lumière bleu qui s’allume quand il est connecté (aux deux extrémités…) ça fait que je ne peux pas le laisser connecté la nuit car ça produit une lumière bleu vive et c’est dérangeant. C’est la raison pourquoi je donne 4 étoiles et non 5.
