Great learning tool
Great puzzle - sturdy pieces and it’s helping my 3 year old associate letters with pictures.

Fun educational activity
A great puzzle to encourage learning while having fun. My 3 year old boys absolutely love these colourful cards which are perfect for helping to teach the alphabet. The box contains 26 three piece puzzles that are very colourful and quite solid, not as easy to tear as some others I've come across. It helps to develop learning and language skills whilst playing with your child. Each of the puzzles contain a lower case letter, capital letter and a picture to represent that letter (A for Alligator) so not only does it help teach letters it helps children learn the names of animals and other items. Once you've finished playing the cards can just be popped back onto the box so it's easy to store and doesn't take up much space. I would definitely recommend this item which is perfect for rainy day and lockdown activities. Great value for money.

Great value and don't rule out for under 4s
First impressions of this are of great quality, a sturdy and tactile box with a velcro seal (very helpful for little people to put away and less likely to break than a cardboard flap on similar brands). The puzzle pieces are glossy, well finished and fit together well. I believe that whilst an age of 4+ is provided I don't see any reason why younger children wouldn't be interested (it is a learning tool as well as a toy after all). Our 4yo found no issues completing and enjoyed the process, our 2.5yo who is interested in puzzles and is starting out with phonics and the alphabet certainly found it engaging (with parental help). Overall very happy with this, a nice educational toy

Great quality
Good resource for teaching alphabet and phonics. Thick enough not to worry about it getting bent or easily ripped. The box is a bit bigger that what is inside but the box got velcro to ensure that the lid doesn't come off easily which I think is a good think so when you carry it around or your kid will carry it around you won't worry about the lid flap opens and spill everything. Also the self correcting feature of the puzzle is good so your kids will not get confused matching the upper and lowercase.

Learn As-You-Go Large Puzzle Pieces... But Suited for Age 4+...?!
I'm surprised to see this listed as suited for age 4+. Personally, and with the experience as a past teacher, I would say that these are suitable for ages two & upwards. It helps greatly for early letter recognition, we love the fact that both, upper and lower case are included, plus, in recognisable British font, rather than some of the Americanised counterparts. The pictures too are easy to decipher and of very common things. ● The Niggle: Our daughter aged 5, was confident with her alphabet by the age of 4. So the suggested age would not have assisted her as she was well underway in reading the 'Read with Oxford' series by this age. ● On-the-Go: Apart from this discrepancy in age, this is a lovely, useful and colourful set that is presented in a rigid and resilient velcro flapped box with a soft rope carry handle making it very suited for travel. The box is pleasingly a lot larger than what is needed - so your little one doesn't have to squeeze the puzzle pieces back in, inadvertently damaging them. ● Is it a Good Learning Aid? The pieces are relatively thick and semi-resilient. Only the matching pieces will fit together, so your child will be alerted to an error by a misfit. ● Final Thoughts: The puzzle pieces could have been made even thicker, to counteract a little one potentially bashing the pieces together to make them fit! But the colours, the design, the large carry box, all tell me this is suited for very early learners. 4 stars

Love Love Love Learning Resources! I bought these for my special education preschoolers. I put them in a morning tub as a choice during free choice time. When I put them out, I only put out three or four letters at at time. Each letter has 3 puzzle pieces, so it's a little challenging. However, that is a good thing. I want my children to struggle slightly when working to build up perseverance and independence. If I put all 26 letters in at one time, the activity would be too overwhelming for my kiddos. Pros: Great for preschool! Durable. Well made. Inexpensive. Good pictures on the puzzle pieces. Cons: They used xylophone for the letter Xx instead of X-ray.

Not really meant for a 4 year old. I think a six year old would have the attention span to do it.
