Perfect addition to my Ronin S. Very sturdy build.

I purchased this item to attach to my Crane 2 Gimbal, to give me extra grip, but also be able to attach my Ninja V monitor on the top of the handle. Yeah, the setup gets heavier, but for short shots it's fantastic. I did purchase a few other items (like a collar) for the gimbal so I can attach this to it, but it was worth the investment. And the product is well made. No complaints.

I used this with a DJI Ronin SC and it has completely changed how confident I am with the stability of it, being able to use two hands to stabilize my camera. A pleasant surprise was the magnetic piece at the bottom that you can use to tighten the bolts onto your gimbal — I don’t have to rely on a coin in my pocket or wallet anymore! You can choose if you’d like it to be on the left or the right side of your gimbal by switching the two securing bolts on the bottom. Once tightened, I don’t feel any kind of wiggle or instability with this. The handle also has a cold shoe mount that I’ve used with my field monitor. In combination with a swivel mount, my field monitor on this handle is such a huge help. The cold shoe mount is flat, so keep that in mind when considering your field monitor mounting points/angle/etc.

The handle is a great handle, built well, BUT.... does not work well with the Weebill S. Or Weebill Lab. Won’t lock down tight enough nor will an external monitor fit well. So, I had to return it.

SmallRig does it again. As I always say - SmallRig has a reputation for great value - really well made products for a price that can’t be beat. This is an excellent partner for the Ronin-S or SC when you need some extra stability. The handle adds another contact point and helps you keep your gimbal steady. The build quality is fantastic. Completely secure with two mounting screws - so you can be certain it won’t swivel around and/or become undone. A screwdriver tool is *magnetically included* so you never have to look for a screwdriver or coin — really convenient. The grip itself is covered in a rubber material that is very, very comfortable. And you can be sure the handle won’t slip and slide in your hands during use. The top of the handle has a cold shoe for common mounts - a microphone or monitor. But SmallRig includes loads of additional screw points for further mounting options. Very flexible. Definitely a pleasure to use and not going to break the bank doing so.

The handle is very sturdy, and solid since its not hollow like other handles I have. I really like that the handle and plate base are connected, just flip it up and it's ready to go. Easy to install, and very stable. The grip feels very nice, and has enough screw holes, and love that it has ARRI holes as well. It is very stable. I am using the new Zhiyun Cinepeer 3E, and was able to screw the base at the bottom.

I have no complaints with the build quality of this item , I may have just gotten unlucky and gotten a lemon, but the screw that tightens the handle in place does not lock the handle tight so the handle keeps wobbling back and forth - this should have been checked in quality control - now as I am traveling I cannot return it or have it replaced , I have had this issue countless times where I have ended up with items that I am stuck with because I'm too busy to drive 10 miles to a shipping location to have it returned

This handle from SmallRig was an excellent addition to my Moza Air 2S, giving me the ability to use two hands, as well as a place to attach accessories. In my pictures, you'll see I attached a small digital audio recorder to the cold shoe mount on the handle to replace the inferior DSLR audio. There are also plenty of 1/4-20" threads, as well as 3/8" threads, making attaching gear easy. You'll see in the pictures, I also have a SmallRig Adjustable Camera Monitor Mount attached, so it does indeed work with the Air 2S. Together, this makes for a great rig. The SMALLRIG aluminum side handle is an excellent addition to my DJI RSC2. It feels solid and well-built, adding extra grip and control during shooting. The folding design is super handy for easy storage and transport. It attaches securely without any wobble and makes handheld shots much more comfortable, especially during longer sessions. If you want better handling and versatility with your Ronin gimbal, this handle is a must-have!

J'ai acheté cette poignée latérale pour deux raisons : _ Optimiser la stabilité pendant le tournage de mes plans, puisque le stabilisateur est maintenant tenu à deux mains, parallèlement. _ Avoir la possibilité d'ajouter des équipements tels que mon écran de retour image, très pratique pour l'aide au tournage (zoomer le sujet sans avoir à toucher la caméra pendant qu'elle est sur le stabilisateur), et aussi selon la position de tournage, toujours avoir un retour de ce que je suis en train de filmer. Il est possible d'ajouter d'autres accessoires de tournage, comme de l'éclairage additionnel ou un micro par exemple. Très solide, ergonomique, on se sent en toute sécurité avec cette poignée additionnelle. Pour moi, c'est pratiquement indispensable à ajouter si on tourne souvent, encore plus si on réalise des vidéos professionnelles.

This handle is hooked on my gimbal and I use it daily. Very good quality.

Great Handle, works well with most gimbals (I have used with both my Ronin S, and RS4 Pro). Can always rely on SmallRig being good build quality. Pros: It's foldable, light weight, great for attaching a monitor/other accessories. Cons: Screwing it into the bottom of the gimbal is finicky, and can take a few minutes. Also the screw consistently loosens over time (no matter how tight you make it). Have had to re-tighten it multiple times throughout a wedding shoot. I ultimately had to find a new handle setup that uses a NATO rail and doesn't come loose. **Someone left a review saying you can't screw in the mini tripod to the bottom of the unit - this is completely wrong. Not only can you screw in the mini tripod still - there are six different places you can screw in the mini tripod.
