The only thing thay works for my GERD. You also have to make some other changes, but is usually effective so I can sleep.

For LRP symptoms I take a teaspoon of honey, then 20 minutes later a tablespoon of Gaviscon. This combination tremendously settles down the very uncomfortable throat tickle and cough.

Minty esophagus Armor
This Gaviscon Extra Strength Cool Mint is thicc, it definitely coats your mouth but hey, it kicked my heartburn’s butt. The minty flavor makes it feel like I’m sipping on relief with a hint of toothpaste energy. Not a five-star beverage, but as far as heartburn fixes go, this one’s a hero in a bottle. My heartburn disappears almost instantly one second I’m regretting my life choices, the next I’m chillin’ like nothing happened. Minty, weirdly soothing, and totally worth it.

Works for bad acid reflux!
I hated the mint flavor until I tried the cherry. The cherry has a very plastic taste to it, barely cherry, you just taste plastic. So I’m back to mint. It’s like drinking toothpaste but it works. I have bad acid reflux sometimes and this is the only thing that works and works fast. It is the only antacid that makes that barrier layer to prevent the acid from coming up. I first tried this as an AI suggestion one night when I was about to go to the emergency room because I couldn’t take the severe burning anymore. I felt like I swallowed lit matches, it was that bad. Within 30 min I was feeling better and was finally able to get some rest. I swear by this now and always have it on hand.
