These are Actual Functional Instruments
I love these because rather than crude noisemakers, they’re legitimate (although very simple) musical instruments. Not only can your child play with them, you can also play simple but real songs to your child on them like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or London Bridge is Falling Down. Of course a baby can only bang on the notes for immediate noise feedback, but a 4 year old on up can be taught it actually play it. These things are classic toys and are still around for a reason.

Not bad
The lace is short, but overall the quality of the toy is good.

Best baby toy of all time
This is one of the most traditional toys that still entertain babies and toddlers in 2021. It’s also very inexpensive and doesn’t require batteries. My grandson is a year old and his face lights up every time he bangs on this. The string that attaches the stick is a catch 22. It’s great because you don’t have to worry about losing the stick. However, it’s a little short and makes some of the notes hard to play. But I get if it were too much longer it could possibly be a choking hazard and it could rap around a babies neck. Also, he bangs on this with anything (and I mean anything) he can find and it works so you don’t necessarily have to use the stick. It also has wheels on it so sometimes he just slides it across the room. I would absolutely recommend everyone getting their baby one of these. It’s fun and educational, super inexpensive, and very practical. This is honestly one of his favorite toys and he has so many that do so much more Lighting up in craziness. But there is something to be said about the simplicity of this toy.

String too short
I realize that for safety reasons a long string attached to this may pose a safety hazard, but the string on this otherwise perfect little xylophone is much too short, even for our one-year old granddaughter. The short length of the string doesn’t allow the child (impossible for an adult!) to play it easily. It is also too short to be a “pull-along” toy, which is disappointing. I believe that if the string were a mere 3-4 inches longer, it may solve this problem. We will likely replace the string ourselves with a longer one, or simply remove it altogether.

Classic xylophone for toddlers and preschoolers
My kids had similar xylophones when they were little and I wanted to get a couple of these for expected babies in the family for when they are a little older, while these are available from Fisher-Price and at a good price. The xylophone has an octave of real musical notes and kids can learn to play actual tunes as they get older, or they can just enjoy the colors, pulling the toy, and playing random notes when they are younger, and count the bars a little later. The plastic stick/mallet is attached will a short cord so it is safe. it appears sturdy as most Fisher-Price toys are This is a toddler toy that remains useful as the child grows, and almost all kids like to play with a xylophone. This one isn't too loud. I haven't opened the packaging completely so I don't know if a simple set of tunes is included or not, but hopefully it is as in the past. The product info does not mention one, though, so maybe not. One tune I still recall from decades ago goes (numbered from lowest to highest notes): 1-2-3-1, 1-2-3-1, 3-4-5, 3-4-5. 5-6-5-4-3-1, 5-6-5-4-3-1, 8-5-8, 8-5-8. LOL. You'll recognize it.

Fun learning toy
Bought as gift for my granddaughter. Fisher-Price is known for quality and educational values. Since the item was delivered to Seattle, I can only go by what my daughter-in-law says.

Jättefin leksak pinnen fastknyten så man kan använda den för att dra leksaken efter sig. Utvecklande då den inte är elektronisk utan man får slå som på en riktig xylofon

A good xylophone with a pleasant sound. The only drawback is a short rope

Très jolie jouet. Les roues fonctionnent très bien, le son est très bon, le jouet est de très bonne qualité; il fait voiture et xylophone, que demander de plus... si je sais que bébé arrête de nous casser les tympans.
