Easy to apply and use on a twin bed.

Very sturdy. Easy to fold down.
Sturdy. Instructions not great so look for a video on utube. I needed a specific size for a built in bunk and this works perfectly.

Worth it for peace of mind
Great bed rail! Very sturdy and secure, giving me peace of mind. It was easy to install and fits the bed perfectly. I haven’t used the fold-down option yet. The only downside is it’s not so easy to clean, but overall it does the job well and feels safe.

Not good for king size bed pillow top.
Easy to put together good material. Not good for a pillow mattress not tall enough. Was going to use this for a king size bed pillow top but it only stuck up about an inch from the mattress from the top so it would not block from rolling off. Would need a higher railing.

Satisfied
It came shrink wrapped. It was all crushed and wrinkled when we opened it so I was worried about the comforter being too thin. I washed and dried it and then it was normal and works perfect! The colors are also bright and beautiful!

Well, he’s only fallen off the bed once since I got it
I got this to keep my elderly dog from falling off the bed. Unfortunately, I have a full-size bed and the straps provided to allow you to hook under the mattress on the far side, which keeps it in place is not nearly long enough. For the most part, it does keep my dog from falling off the bed, but he has gotten stuck in between the side rail and the bed a few times because he’ll slide off and it allows him to get through just enough. One time, he did actually eventually fall through because I didn’t get to him quickly enough. If this was being used on a twin bed, it would be fantastic. The quality is very good. It’s easy to put together. It’s easy to fold up and down. I haven’t had to clean it, but it looks like that will be easy as well. I’m still gonna try and figure out a way to retrofit it so that I can hook it to the other side of the mattress and make it stay in place.

Good addition
I added this because my niece was coming to visit and she's a wild sleeper. The mattress I put on the bunk bed is almost flush with the regular rail so I wanted something that would help keep her in. It isn't super robust but enough to give some resistance should you roll up against it. Of course, she didn't end up sleeping in that bed so I can't say if it would have really kept her from breaking her neck but I belive it would have

Great Product at a Great Price!
Previously, we had a "Cars"-themed bedrail for our son. When our daughter went to a toddler bed, we used that bedrail for a bit. But she is quite girlie and it didn't seem right to keep using the Cars bedrail for the sake of convenience and frugality. LOL! When we transitioned her to her "big girl" bed, I got the Regalo bedrail. Now, I usually leave assembly to my husband, but this was so easy and quick to assemble that I did it while he had a cat nap. I also found it easy to get it onto her bed by myself. I think it may be tricky for some who are unfamiliar with the straps of a bedrail and how to position them to set this up on a bed solo. I'm just familiar because our son's Car bedrail was not the swing-down type (Or maybe it was and I never got the memo? LOL!), so we often took it off and put it on. FYI, I am not a big gal--only 5'3"--but even with my [lack of] height and arm span I can maneuver a bedrail under a mattress and strap it down. I've learned to wedge myself into strategic positions to handle this task. (My daughter's bed has a comforter and dust ruffle, and I am OCD about beds being presentable, and still I can maneuver this thing into position.) Back to the Regalo bedrail. I love the swing-down feature. Not only does it make changing bed linens more convenient (than bedrails you need to remove first), but it is also nice to have the rail down so the bed looks neater when not in use for sleeping. The bedrail is also holding up to the constant rolling and bashing of my daughter, who is not a gentle, motionless sleeper. She has also rammed herself into it, climbed on/over it, and kicked it when awake and it stays in place. (And she is big for her toddler age, so she can pack a wallop.) Initially, we had only the bedrail along the open side of her bed, with an extra standard-sized pillow blocking the small gap near her head/headboard. Eventually, though, I positioned a long body pillow from her headboard and long the bedrail to cushion her, as she is old enough that we don't have a fear of SIDS or suffocation from pillows placed such. There is enough of a gap at the foot of the bed for her to access her little step stool to get down, even when the bedrail is up. I am very happy with this purchase. I feel like I got a great deal for a product that has held up nicely with our "active sleeper" (we've had it for a month, as of this post). And I like the clean look of the white cover (which is removable; great for cleaning!). I get to sleep easier with this bedrail in place!
