How much of the powder do you use to make 1 cup of buttermilk? Can the powder be added to the recipe as a dry ingredient, and then water be added?

I use 1 part powder to 4 parts water and it work just fine! and yes the powder and absolutely be added to the dry ingredients and then add the liquids! its up to you how you prefer it!

2 pounds of our Buttermilk Powder contains roughly 7 cups of powder. To rehydrate to a liquid, add 3 cups buttermilk powder to 3.75 quarts water to make 1 gallon liquid buttermilk. And for one cup of liquid buttermilk, mix 3 Tbsp Buttermilk Powder to 7.5 oz. water (1 cup minus 1 Tbsp) 2 pounds of our Buttermilk Powder will make about 9 quarts of liquid Buttermilk. Thank you!
