Hands down, the most AMAZING pair of pants I have EVER owned!
I could not wait to sit down and write this review. Let me first tell you a bit about myself: I am very familiar with tactical pants. For years, I have been wearing BDU pants from Propper. They have become a necessity in my warehouse workplace environment where I am constantly bending my body in different positions as well as working around moving equipment as well as changing outdoor environments. In short, my needs in BDU wear are to provide me with comfort and flexibility. Propper pants are great, no doubt. The several pairs I have owned have lasted me for 5 years and they are still going strong, but just beginning to fray at integral seams. I thought it was high time that I buy 5 new pairs of BDU type pants to last me an entire work week. I began looking at Propper pants on Amazon. However, my eyes caught reviews for 5.11 pants. They were consistently much higher than Propper pants. As I began pouring through reviews on the 5.11 brand, I began seeing statements that the STRYKE pants were much more favorable than the standard PRO pants. Here's the initial issue I faced. These pants cost nearly $75 a pair. That's insane! I am used to buying tactical/BDU pants at about $35 a pair. As I continued reading more reviews from those who bought the Tactical Stryke pants, I realized that perhaps spending $75 might not be a bad idea. I went ahead and blindly bought 5 pairs of these pants in various colors. I figured if I did not like them, I could return them to Amazon. Upon arrival, I slipped on my first pair of 32/30 pants. I was floored! These are tactical pants?! They seemed like dress pants. The material was so soft. The appearance was slim and refined (rather than baggy), and it even had hints of pinstripes in the fabric. I mean, I could put on a nice shirt and go out to dinner in these pants. I was just dumbfounded by the fact that these were actually tactical pants. Yet, I could tell that this was indeed ripstop fabric. It had pockets all over the place. It was flexible and roomy enough that as I bent down, I never felt a bit of tightness in the fabric. Yet, the pants hug my body. They look absolutely amazing on me. Here's one more thing.... I am a short guy. I wear a 29-inch inseam. Anyone with my inseam knows that no pants come tailored for us. I figured I would have to have these pants tailored, which would have been quite expensive given the fact I bought five. I was very happy to find that the length came in a little short so that I was able to just get by with the 30-inch inseam. This is something that several Amazon reviews do point out. Having just washed these pants for the first time, I was quite pleased that they held their form after a toss in the dryer. These do quick-dry and I would not recommend drying them for more than 30 minutes in the dryer. Folks, I am here to tell you that these are the most amazing pair of pants I have ever owned. I can wear them to the warehouse. I can wear them out to dinner. How many pants can you think of that can serve you for heavy work and relaxing dining? I suppose pants that cost $75 a pair can. Definitely worth the price. I will never buy another brand again. I am sold on 5.11!

The perfect design
*EDIT* I now own 4 pairs, and they hold up very well. I have waded thigh high water in them, and even some light snow. They are cool enough to wear in the summer and warm enough to hold up in the winter and repel water during rain too. I loved them so much I went ahead and bought some Ridgelines as well. The best pants I have invested in for years. I was avoiding 5.11 for a long time because of the price. After spending an equal amount on other brands including condor, wranglers (riggs), carhartt, kuhl, tru-spec, mars, and the other newer ones that are basically knock offs of all these brands, I finally caved. By far the best decision I have made in a while when it comes to pants. I got so fed up with 'tactical' pants that I tried buying jeans even. It just did not work. I bought a 34x32 and I am 5'11 and 180 pounds. I am toned. They fit perfectly. Unlike every single other pair of pants I tried, the 5.11's fit perfectly. Plenty of room, not overly baggy, and great in the waist/crotch area. You can move and be comfortable. The crotch is also gussetted and well stitched. The fabric is 10x better than the 'stealth' condors I recently tried, and much lighter than any other brands like carhartt and riggs. Kuhls are nice, but they are very limited and I will keep the one pair I bought, but they are even more than 5.11's and not as practical in how I wear them and what I carry. They are also tighter. I was seriously impressed with the fit and quality of these pants. I owned a pair of the lightweight tactical pants years ago, around 2012, and they were nice, but I always hated the front pouches instead of pockets. These Stryke pants are the perfect medium. The inside front pockets are perfect. Plenty of room to hang your keys and they are a good material. Nice and durable. The cargo pockets are not as loose, but I think they are also perfect. I have tested carrying around a magazine, although I would never do it regularly. However, the cargo holding power is great. Not too big and puffy or extended, and not too small with a lack of any room. I included some pics that I thought may be helpful. I have already washed them once and wore them all day before taking the pictures. They are nothing like the older 5.11's. They are much nicer. The pics that amazon shows are actually a good visual representation as well. Colors may be a bit lighter or darker, but you should expect that. Overall, I am really impressed, and will gladly spend the money on these pants a couple more times. I plan on getting about 5 colors and some duplicated of the same color. I returned tons of pants and jeans lately. I am glad I finally went back to 5.11. They really thought about the design of these pants and perfected an already great version in doing so. However, I advise you to check 5.11's website directly, because after my purchase I was informed through email they have a promo code for some extra gear or discounts. So check there first. I personally use Amazon Prime, but given the free gear or a discount for so much purchased, I would rather go that route next time. I highly recommend these pants.

Buy. These. Pants!!!! Best Fitting, Looking, Feeling EMS Pants EVER!
I owe this review to Amazon and all future person(s) seeking the perfect pair of EMS pants in which are INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE, PROFESSIONAL LOOKING, and NOT BAGGY whatsoever!! I just was hired at my local hospital as an EMT/ER Technician so I was directed to purchase black EMT pants or something tactical with a professional appearance to satisfy the professional appearance requirements as well as job requirements when away from the ER responding to a call. The town in which I reside is very small with no such store in which to purchase these said pants.. I must have ordered and returned 4 pairs of EMT pants from Amazon to no avail!! I'm 5'9" with a waist size of 29 so my ideal pant size is 29/30. It's been a struggle finding pants in that size let me tell you and everything I've ordered was too large due to the smallest size being 30/30 or one of the two measurements being too large. Well I was about to give up all hope until I found these pants on prime!! The size of these pants are 28/30 and their absolutely perfect! The waist is one size smaller but the adjustable waist component to these pants makes it perfect and snug. The length is also perfect and true to advertised length! These pants fit and feel like a dream! The material is amazingly comfortable and appears durable to endure anything. These pants fit very well with no "baggy" appearance and look very professional! There are more pockets than I know what to do with!!! Absolutely love these pants!!!! Will most certainly be buying more! My recommendation is purchase a pant with the waist size being 1 size below your normal and that's just a recommendation as the adjusting waist gently compress around you making it a even more ideal feeling fit. If you want non-baggy, amazingly well fitted true to size pant then look no further and order these. It will be your first and last purchase unless you buy more of these!!! All these positive reviews are true! Believe us, these are the greatest fitting, feeling, and looking pants for any EMS related job!!

Nice pair of pants so far
Nice pair of pants so far. I like 5.11 products and have quite a few of them - bags, backpacks and apparel. I've got to say, though, that while I really enjoy using their bags and backpacks, I've had some poor experience with their pants. I own a pair of their Jean-Cut pants in Dark Navy Blue and wish they were better - the colour faded off in some places, the metal ring at the waist got some rust on it, the belt loops are very tight. I don't know how these Strykes are going to show themselves, but so far they seem to be quite decent - they are comfortable to wear and I really like the cargo pockets that are placed higher than usual. The fit is really slim, not like most of tactical pants on the market, and that's another plus of them - they really look like you can wear them every day without getting comments and looks on you. To be honest, I'm a huge fan of Blackhawk Lightweight pants - I own several pairs and in my eyes they are one of the best tactical pants on the market - tough as nails, no colour-fading, no bad stitching, nothing. The first pair I've been wearing for 4 years now and they still look good - like used, but without any signs of abuse or holes (and I've used them in a lot of situations that were not really gentle for clothing - construction, outdoor work, shooting, etc). So 5.11 Stryke Pants will have to prove themselves to me as, naturally, I'll be comparing them to the BH LW pants. So far they're OK, comfortable, nicely-looking, inexpensive, and if the colour doesn't magically fades off with time and no holes easily occur after minor abuse when they shouldn't have - they deserve a good rating.

Great pants, only one thing I'd change.
These pants are really comfortable and pretty rugged so far. I really like that when I wash them the corners of the pocket flaps don't roll up. I have had pants similar to these in the past and the pocket flaps would always curl up. I have washed these dozens of times and they stay flat so they still look good. The only thing I don't like about these pants is that the pockets themselves, the actual pocket where you place items, seem to bunch up. This is not too much of an issue as you can just slide your hand inside and push it down, but the pockets in front, to two small one without flaps, are too small to get my hands in. I can slide a couple of fingers in, but my fingers are not long enough to push them all the way. You can reach on the inside of the pants and straighten them out, but if you are out and about and you forgot to do this then you've got to reach down your pants to do this, not the most couth thing. One of the cheaper pairs I owned had pockets similar to these that had a piece of the pant material sewn behind them instead of a pouch type pocket, the same thing on the back pockets as well. This kept the pocket always ready to use as the ones on these 5.11s will stop you from putting something in them if they are all bunched up until you have pushed the inside down. It's a small thing, but if you are in the middle of doing something and you are trying to put something in your pocket quickly it hinders you a little.

My Favorite Pair of Pants When I Need to Get Stuff Done and Want to Stay Comfortable
Excellent, durable pants that feel great to wear and have a lot of convenient pockets. When I first put these on I immediately bought another pair. The stretch fabric feels rugged but also very comfortable. All details are top quality, from the belt loops to the double button fastener on the waist. Pros: - The two standard pants pockets are shaped well. Makes it easy to get into even when wearing light gloves. The shape is perfect for holding a clip pocket knife. - Stretch material is durable but flexes when I need to move around and not be constrained. You can kneel, squat, etc with ease. - Durable. Extra knee fabric. All sewing looks double or triple tough at the joints. - Many other very useful pockets. Two "pleat" magazine-sized pockets on the front are also convenient for my phone or anything else I don't want moving around. Was pleasantly surprised that the cargo pockets also have two sleeves inside for magazines. You can use the cargo for misc gear, magazines, or both. - Length. I am tall, so great to find 36x36in size. - Color: I ordered the green pair here, but I also own a khaki color. The khaki looks really good in just about any type of clothes. The green is of course a bit more work appropriate. - Belt loops. substantial and secure. Big enough for a 1.5in web BDU belt. - Extra knee material is not annoyingly apparent. - Plenty of room for thighs to feel comfortable without being baggy. Crotch isn't long and allows you to wear them high enough to keep good mobility. Superb proportions (for my body, I suppose). - Two ways to (simultaneously) fasten the waist. A button and a snap. Keeps it nice and secure with a backup should one fail. Cons: - When you have a knife in your pocket clipped to the corner (where it conveniently wants to be) it makes putting your hand in your pocket for warmth or to grab something uncomfortable. If I need to do that I just move the knife to my back pocket or one of the magazine pockets. The standard pockets are the perfect spot for a knife, so slightly annoying that it comes at the cost of comfort when putting hand in pocket. - Can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for (these are high-quality). I found a khaki pair for about $65 at my local store. I didn't want to spend much more than that so I went with the green color, which is a less appropriate for things like dinner parties (compared to the khaki color). - I bought two pair, and on one of them the "pleat" magazine pockets are a bit wider (maybe 1/4 - 1/2in). Not a big deal, just means that if I get used to putting certain items in one pair it may not necessarily work in the other. Other Misc facts and thoughts: - Velcro on cargo pockets and back pockets. works well. - Flaps on back pockets. - The cargo pockets aren't huge, which I like. Means that if you have a few small items they won't bounce around too much. The are located well above the knee which makes them easier to move when loaded. Just big enough to fit an Amazon Kindle (keyboard) and shut the velcro without deforming the shape. - Fits over hiking boots/big shoes well. - Many pockets useful for airline travel so I can keep each document or gadget, etc What I don't know or haven't tested: - Fire resistance - Haven't put them through rough wear (yet) - How well the rip-stop (haven't had a rip yet) - How well they wash Overall: My favorite pair of pants when I need to get stuff done. Brings together so many factors of a good pair of useful, comfortable pants.

Durable and Functional Tactical Pants!
Durable and Functional Tactical Pants! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The 5.11 Tactical Men's Stryke Operator Uniform Pants are outstanding for anyone needing reliable and durable tactical wear! The Flex-Tac mechanical stretch fabric provides excellent mobility and comfort, making them perfect for both work and outdoor activities. I love the number of pockets available—there's plenty of space for carrying tools and gear securely. The fit is fantastic, allowing for easy movement without being restrictive. Plus, the material is tough and holds up well against wear and tear. Overall, I highly recommend these pants for anyone looking for a practical and high-quality option in tactical apparel!

Excellent pants, great for traveling
I bought these before a trip to DC some months ago. I bought then because of the front pockets to keep my ID and bank card in a pocket I can see. I also liked the Velcro pockets to help prevent anything from falling out. My other pants have buttons on pockets which don't close securely. I also bought them for the elastic waist. I have been gaining and losing weight due to a medical condition. I bought a size bigger than I normally wear because I was concerned I might "grow" out of them. The size bigger fit fine tho. I'm glad I got a size up because the size I wear would have been too small. I've had the same concern with other clothes with elastic fit so it isn't just these. I have other 5.11 tac pants off a different design and I bought this style to have the elastic waist as much as the front pockets. Theses pants exceeded my high expectation. They are tough! They don't "breathe" well, but they stand up to alot of force. My sister's dog tore a hike in some cheap pants I had by jumping on my and scratching the pants. That dog both scratched and chewed these causing NO damage!! I'd buy these again despite the high cost. This may be TMI, but I have west these at least 4 days a week alternating with the only other pair of pants that fit me. (I can't afford a second pair of theses right now.) It has been 5 months. They have started to fade noticeably, but that's expected with washing them a couple times a week. The stitching had withheld the constant use, the Velcro and elastic have not weakened (despite me carrying several pound of stuff in my pockets regularly--medical supplies, extra phone batteries....). After all theses months, there are no places that show wear--except the crotch. That will probably wear out first. I don't think it's a flaw in the pants; I never had that problem until I gained weight. Only 5.11 pants last in this regard. I'm planning to take a trip to AZ and plan to buy a new pair simply so I have a pair that isn't faded. I believe it's well worth saving and buying a pair every couple months than to have $20 pants that only last that long.

Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits

These are excellent.
There are no decent reviews on the web about these, hopefully this will help. I am a fan of 5.11 clothing, you may be able to tell. Bottom line: These are excellent, highly functional and comfortable cargo pants, the best I have owned. Suitable for travel, hot and cold climates, the hills, work, or town. The style does not scream cargo pant/military but remains functional, the fit good (see below) and the colours appropriate. Fit: I am a 32-34 waist and a 32 leg. I own these trousers in 32 waist and a 34 leg and they fit well, slightly long and snug around the waist. 34 waist are too baggy around the groin and 32 too short in the leg. They are a straight, non articulated leg so slightly long is fine. The reinforced knee still fits as it should, both standing and kneeling. The waist is elasticated and fits as it should with good access to pockets. 5.11 Traverse pants fit me in exactly the same manner, but with a well sited articulated knee. 5.11 Ridgeline pants also fit as per the Stryke pant. Design: The layout of these trousers is as good as you are going to get with a cargo pant. The waist pockets are large and deep, cleverly worked into the elasticated waist band for great access and reinforced at the pocket clip area. Slit pockets take a medium smartphone (HTC One), large folding knife or small torch and are a good depth. Rear pockets are good even when snug on the butt and have Velcro closure that works fine for a wallet or passport etc. Cargo pockets on the thigh are more discreet than a normal cargo pant, bellows in a clever fashion and stretch. All gear is kept secure against the leg without being annoying. The pockets are big without being ridiculous. They have inner pockets for 2 x AR15 magazines. The pocket holds an A5 note book or small tablet and case, well (Kindle Fire). Fastenings are well designed Velcro that holds the pocket completely shut yet access is rapid. 5.11 Traverse pants have exactly this layout less the rear pockets which are zip closure, which also work well. Material: These are made from lightweight ripstop nylon/cotton blend fabric with mechanical stretch width ways. They are great in all weathers and are breathable. The trousers are hard wearing similar to BDUs with greater comfort and fit thanks to the stretch. The Teflon coating means they are semi liquid repelling and are easy to care for. Construction: No issues so far, well stitched, good materials, metal zip and robust fastenings. Colours: I now own several pairs of these. Storm is a great mid grey colour. Olive is as the remainder of the 5.11 range and suitable for the field. Tundra is a green/brown combination and slightly darker than olive - actually a great camouflage colour for most environments, with a couple of washes it may lighten slightly to be even better. Charcoal is a dark grey. Battle Brown is darker than 'chino' khaki but lighter than chocolate - another great colour. In all, I like all of the current 5.11 colours described. Washing: I have followed the instructions on these pants and washed them at 30. I have encountered no shrinking or fading. Alternatives: The 5.11 Traverse pants are also excellent and even more comfortable, they are synthetic and probably less hard wearing as a result. Fit is as per the Stryke pant. 5.11 Ridgeline pants are almost identical to the Stryke, but have jean cut rear pockets and no thigh pockets. They are slightly more smart than casual. They are made of the same material as the Stryke pant and fit the same. I own both styles and they are excellent. I am not retained by 5.11.....
