These worked great for buffing my truck. One pad did my Ranger.

Amazing value. One 5-inch pad worked for entire Honda Odyssey minivan using cleaner wax of a vehicle that hadn't been hand waxed in over a decade and rarely saw a car wash. Superb results using the wool pads with cleaner wax (meguiars and mothers). Also did the headlights with incredible results using same pad and same cleaner wax. As others mentioned the disc does spin off so just release the polisher trigger while pad is in contact with vehicle. It won't spin off then. The pad wheel hook & loop holds the pad in place incredibly well and the pad has the perfect rigid and flexible combination to work around a vehicle.

Use thread lock or you'll go insane. The pad keeps coming unscrewed . Otherwise the pads work great.

Because I HAVENT been able to use the buffing pads yet, but I would like to review the shipping, quality and comparison to my larger buffing pads. I'm doing this because I don't want to miss the deadline for a review. Shipping was over estimated and I received the kit a week early. The buffing pads are a bit more thin than a traditional a buffer pad. To me, this will make using the buffing pad more maneuverable and lot easier to manage in tight spots. But they are the same quality as any of the larger pads and the same wool-like material. The actual attachment is super high and the foam backing is nice and squishy and Velcro is quality and the size as described . There are plenty of pads included so I don't run out of them between washes. Ill follow up after the weekend with the performance.

Spins off when stopping 😏

After trying to rub out the finish on the guitar I'm building by hand (after all, they call it a "hand-rubbed" finish, right?), I decided I needed some help from a power tool. Well, this, attached to my cordless drill, was just what I needed. Using it for 20 minutes yielded the mirror finish I failed to get with hours of hand rubbing. I used "Howard's Restore-a-Shine" and one of these wool pads on low speed. Then I put on a clean pad to remove the hazy, half-dried film of compound left on the finish. I think this step is where most of the polishing happened. I then used another clean pad for buffing out a coat of paste wax. The guitar now has the mirror finish I was looking for. The buffing pads are thick and soft. They are very easy to change, yet firmly attached in use by the hook and loop backing. I did not have any issues with the disc coming unscrewed during use or when the drill stopped, as some other reviewers have noted - maybe if I was polishing a whole car instead of a small guitar, maybe I wasn't spinning it as fast, or maybe I just screwed it on tighter, who knows? I can't speak to durability yet, but the pads seem well constructed and I expect a long life from them. The only issue I have is that it won't fit on my Makita angle grinder, which would be easier to use than a drill if I were polishing a larger area, like a car. Over all, I am very pleased with my purchase and can't wait to try it out on my glass shower doors.

Works fairly well. This is a good alternative for people like me with a good cordless drill that does not wish to buy another power tool ( for reasons of storage and cost) like a buffer. The spindle did come loose a few times from the buffer pad during use, but maybe it was because I did not get it tight enough.
