This is a beautifully-crafted puzzle. It came with me on a recent family vacation, and the kids (and some of the adults!) loved it. My brother-in-law, in particular, was fascinated with it as he took it apart for the first time. It's not an easy puzzle to solve - but once you learn how to solve it, it's pretty easy to put it back together again (so that you can torture someone else with it). The included solution diagram is rather tiny and difficult to follow, but you can figure it out if you get really stuck. This is definitely one of those puzzles to leave out for visitors. It's both beautiful and fun. Well done! -- Updated -- I purchased a second one for a friend a few months after I bought my first one. The instructions had been updated, and they are more detailed and clear than the original version. They are also a bit larger, aiding significantly in their clarity. Nice improvement! Well done!

This product is amazing for when you have nothing to do. You can give it as a gift and use something sharp to engrave a message or something onto the product. It is amazing for kids and can give them a slight challenge. One down side is that one side is slightly loose. Not that it would fall apart or anything but it can slightly move around when intact.

My 11 year old spent about 30 minutes to figure out this puzzle. He has seen a few others similar in design, but in different shapes (cylinder / ball). It's great for training kids to visualize hidden pieces in 3D.

It's very much like the cylindrical shaped one we got, just squared. That is, the puzzles go together exactly the same way essentially, so it took my kids about 2 minutes to solve. they now have it down to under 30 seconds. This puzzle loses a star only because the pieces stuck a bit more compared to the rounded version we bought a couple weeks before. those pieces went into place much more smoothly. My kids even noticed. Otherwise a fun little puzzle. Really small so easy to leave on a desk or something. But not so small that it's tough to work on. It's about the size of a rubic's cube. My boys age 9 and 11 compete to see who can do the puzzle the fastest. less than 30 seconds is the goal.

The puzzle is great for people who need more of a challenge. I got this for my boyfriend who is too good at solving Rubix cubes. It took him at least half an hour to solve this puzzle. It's a nice change from traditional puzzles and requires a bit more thinking. the quality of the puzzle is very good. the pieces are sturdy and it doesn't a lot like wood stain. Overall, a really good puzzle.

Bought this for my husband on his birthday and he had it solved within a day. But it is a great ice breaker to stump guests when they come over! Only complaint is that one of the pieces cracked, and we had to glue it back together.

If you're looking for something fun to fiddle with, an interactive paper weight, or want to challenge a friend to see who can disassemble and rebuild it the fastest I recommend getting one.
