Excellent all-round
Bought this for a recent build project - it's fantastic. The top panel has lots of ventilation and room for multiple fans, as does the back. You could even put one over the PSU. And three on the front. Or mount an AIO or radiator on the side. There's PLENTY of room to do decent cable management and fit all those fan RGB cables, and an RGB controller. And multple SSDs and HDDs in the dedicated bays, which come with easy-screws. Every aspect of this case is finished to a high standard, from the machining, to the blasting and painting. Every hole is pristine, every surface is smooth. And, because you'll want to see inside, the tempered glass is very solid. Both panels pop off easily, so you don't need screwdrivers if you need to hot-swap or have a look inside, or do whatever you're doing. I may be biased, but it's also GREAT as a single-chamber. Nothing to worry about, but PLENTY of room with the access slot for PCIe/Mobo/SATA cables. It'll fit a full ATX with a chunky 7900XTX and still have room for a little bobble-head. Minor criticisms: Plastic feet and front panel trim could be a slightly higher quality or better finish, and they don't seem to match the case 100%. Might be worth removing and painting, if you're that bothered. The rear slot covers slide into a groove and are secured on one side with a screw. This can cause resonant vibration at certain frequencies. For someone like me with hyperacusis, it is HORRENDOUS. Easily solved with a tiny bit of adhesive putty. Overall: Excellent value for money, great build quality, and even looks like it might withstand some customising and machining.

A Cool Performer
The Corsair 400d is a fantastic mid-tower case that excels in one crucial area: cooling. Its thoughtfully designed airflow channels and generous ventilation ensure that your components stay cool under even the heaviest workloads. Here's why I'm impressed: Excellent Airflow: The 400d features ample front, top, and rear intake vents, allowing for optimal airflow throughout the case. Smart Cable Management: The case includes dedicated cable routing channels and tie-downs, making it easy to keep your build clean and tidy, further improving airflow. Supports High-End Components: You can easily fit high-end graphics cards, CPU coolers, and multiple drives within this case. For those bigger GPU’s simply remove the fairing from inside the case. Easy to Build In: The 400d has a spacious interior and tool-less drive bays, making the building process a breeze. Stylish Design: The case has a sleek, modern aesthetic that will look great in any setup. Overall: The Corsair 400d is a strong contender in the mid-tower market. If you prioritize excellent cooling performance and a user-friendly build experience, this case is an excellent choice. I hope this review is helpful!

Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Case – Brilliant Design with Exceptional Airflow
Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Case – Brilliant Design with Exceptional Airflow I’ve been using the Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW for my latest PC build, and it’s easily one of the best cases I’ve worked with. It combines stylish aesthetics with practical features that cater to both performance and ease of use. Design and Build: The smoked tempered glass panel is a real standout feature, giving the case a premium and modern look. It beautifully showcases the internal components, especially when paired with good RGB lighting. The build quality is excellent overall, with a sturdy frame and thoughtfully designed layout. Airflow and Cooling: As the name suggests, airflow is where this case shines. I’ve set mine up with six fans, two of which are mounted on an AIO CPU cooler, and the cooling performance is exceptional. The case is designed to optimise airflow, keeping my components cool even under heavy loads. This is especially important for my setup, which includes a Radeon 7900 XTX graphics card. Despite the card’s size, it fits perfectly with plenty of clearance, which is a huge plus. Ease of Building: There’s ample room for accessing and installing components. Cable management is a breeze thanks to the generous routing channels and included Velcro straps. Even with the AIO cooler and multiple fans, the case didn’t feel cramped. It’s an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced builders alike. Customisation and Creativity: One thing to note is that while the case itself is reasonably priced, the front grille replacements can be quite expensive. Instead of purchasing one, I decided to laser-cut my own grille out of birch plywood, and it worked beautifully at a fraction of the cost. This adds a personal touch and makes the build even more unique. Pros: Superb airflow design for excellent cooling Smoked tempered glass panel for a premium aesthetic Plenty of space for larger components like the Radeon 7900 XTX Easy cable management and installation Solid build quality with a sleek, modern look Cons: Front grilles are pricey if you want to buy replacements Could include more fan mounts or filters for added flexibility Conclusion: The Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW is a brilliant case that balances form and function. With its sleek design, exceptional cooling capabilities, and spacious interior, it’s perfect for high-performance builds. While the front grille cost is a minor downside, creative solutions like making your own can easily solve this. If you’re looking for a stylish and practical case with superb airflow, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

A decent value case...
I upgraded the processor in my PC and the new device was running hotter than I liked on the stock cooler. The old case was quite old and too small to take a modern cooling solution, so I decided to do a complete rebuild. I didn't want some silly looking gaming case that lights up like a Christmas tree - this is a serious work PC. The Corsair 4000D Airflow seemed to fit the bill and at less than £90. I was pleasantly surprised - it is easy to work on, has plenty of space for a reasonably high performance cooler, and it looks quite tasteful. I would not have chosen a glass side panel, but it is smoked glass and provided the fans are not all illuminated, you are not really aware of it. Cable routing is quite easy. My only criticism is that the positioning of the power supply can make cables a bit of a tight fit. I've installed a Corsair PSU which should have been a good match, but I've still had to install extensions on the SATA power cables in order to route to the recommended SSD bay locations. I've seen it criticised as being a bit boring. I guess that it is for a hard-core teenage games PC builder, but for an old fogey like me building a serious work or hobby PC, it is pretty close to perfect.

Amazing case, very slick design
So I bought this for my first ever PC build and couldn't be happier. The criteria were a mid tower ATX, average to smaller than the average as I don't have that much space to place it in, plenty of airflow (so mesh front at least), black color, has some feet to raise it above the floor for PSU intake, and not look completely horrid! This ticked all the boxes, and went above and beyond those! The specs that matter are: MSI B450-A Pro Max CoolerMaster Hyper 212 ROG Strix RTX 2080 Super Corsair RM750 PSU They all fit wonderfully, with room to spare! Now, to the assembly part: - The panels pop off easily with just two screws holding them in place, and plenty of room in the back for cable management. The front IO cables even come pre-routed, and pre cable-tied. Mixed feelings regarding this as it kind of didn't allow me to put new wires in that bundle without first cutting the existing cable tie. - The 3.5" HDD drive cage is more of a nuisance rather than a feature. Even with a modular PSU, there is no way you can fit an ATX PSU and the hard drive cage. So unless you go SFX PSU, you'll most likely end up sticking with SSDs. Not the end of the world, but something to look out for! Font panel: The front IO are few, but mighty! One type A 3.0, one type C, a headphone/mic 3.5mm audio jack combo, a reset button, and a power button. By simply having that type C, though, you always have a choice of going with a type C hub to expand your IO. General comments: I'm loving the case! The only small quirk I found was the HDD drive. it comes with magnetic filter on the front, top, and bottom for PSU.

Fantastic ATX Case with Excellent Airflow and Design
The Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case has been an outstanding choice for my PC build. The high-airflow design with the perforated front panel ensures excellent ventilation, keeping my components cool even during intense gaming sessions. The two included 120 mm fans are quiet yet effective, providing great air circulation right out of the box. The tempered glass side panel showcases my build beautifully, and the spacious interior makes installation a breeze. The cable management system is top-notch, allowing for a clean and organized setup without any hassle. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, which makes the entire build process smooth and enjoyable. The quality of the screws provided is excellent, making the assembly both secure and straightforward. The case itself is sturdy and well-constructed, providing a solid and reliable foundation for all my components. Every aspect of this case, from its airflow to its functionality, has been thoughtfully designed to enhance the building experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW case for anyone looking for a stylish, well-ventilated, and user-friendly ATX case. It's a fantastic investment for any PC enthusiast!

The first time builder: roomy, sleek, easy to build in!
As a first time PC builder, this case has provided me with everything I could've asked for. In-built cable management systems with rear straps and spares included (with zip ties!), massive high quality dust filters on the front, top and PSU bottom. Thumbscrews on the glass and metal panels that stay on after unscrewing, easy to slide in and lock in the panels. The airflow, the main feature of this case does not disappoint. The case has a huge amount of available breathing room with the massive front filter and great placement of vents and holes. I put three 120mm fans up front and it intakes all the air my build could ask for! Building inside the case was easy and with the inbuilt cable management, a breeze. Would recommend, especially for first time builders who aren't confident in messing around in unconventional, larger or smaller cases.

Great case, just wish it came with more fans
Bought this case to build a budget PC out of older spare parts (GTX980ti, i7 7700k) and wanted a solid case with space to upgrade. Assembly: I'm no PC building pro, last time I built one was 12 years ago. The build process following a guide from Linus Tech Tips was working without a hitch regarding the case (had a problem with the Motherboard which had nothing to do with the case). It's got plenty of space for most Motherboards, my PSU installed easy and i like that i can tuck cables neatly behind the panel. Filters and Fans: Case comes with two fans; one in on the front and one out on the back. Those are preinstalled, sound quiet and work well. They do not have RGB if you care about that. For my build that is enough but there is space for two more on the front, which are shown in the marketing material but not included. I know I could have read it more closely but I just assumed I get what's in the picture. I think the filters are easy to remove and clean and i like the asthetic of the top filter a lot. Quality: I think the quality of the metal, glass and other things like the power button is all good. Nothing to complain about.

Recommended for any type of build, and Its easy to care for!
This case is good; it's easy to care for and clean, and it provides plenty of space to add components. I'll also call this the Dust Dome 4000 because the front panel protects against a lot of dust entering. It's actually very effective. I would recommend this for a starter build or even a general build. It feels premium, and for what it is, it's really good!
