* Manufactured on a cylinder mould machine to give the paper the feel and look of handmade paper. * The paper has enhanced surface cohesion to allow several layers of paint without damaging the paper surface. * Special mass and surface sizing allows even and easy pigment spreading and wet strength. * Has very good dry and wet erasability. * Cold press surface is neither too smooth nor too grainy making it easy to handle. * Hot press surface has a smooth texture that is particularly suited for portraits or other detailed works. * Rough grain surface requires greater expertise but is ideal for doing landscapes or creating special effects.

This has a beautiful weigh and texture for painting with watercolours. The sheets stay flat and the texture shows through which I prefer so that once framed, my paintings look like originals, not photocopies of pictures I've found in books....
