I don’t get the negative reviews on this. It’s $10, of course it’s not going to be thick material. I think it’s perfect for the purpose. We are transitioning our babies out of swaddles so this band is just there for a slightly more snug fit. I like that the material is breathable. Handle it with care and it will last. My boy is 5 months and we had to size him up to a medium because his arms were too long for the small size. The band helps prevent the zipadeezip sack from bunching the material around his face and neck. Hoping to stop using this soon but for us, it worked great!

Made my swaddle usable! My baby outgrew his Velcro swaddle (see feet poking out of the bottom on left pic), so I bought a zipper swaddle intended for 3-6mo. Unfortunately, it was loose and stretchy and I feared he would get his head inside of it. I really didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a new swaddle for him to only use it a short time (he's 3mo and my other kids outgrew swaddling around 3-4mo), and it was too late to return the zipper swaddle. I came across this "belly band" and it works PERFECTLY! He's snug as a bug in a rug, and momma can sleep comfortably knowing there's no loose fabric near his face. 🥰

I love the zipadee sleep sack. However, I feel like my baby was missing the tightness from the swaddle. This is a great solution. It also helps ensure the sleep sack doesn’t bunch up by her face. The only issue is that it doesn’t stay spread out on her, it bunches. But it works perfectly for keeping fabric out of her face

I like this product, I do, but for the popularity of this, it’s very basic features and price, it should have a much better fabric quality. We started using this about 3 weeks ago with our 5 month old, and this is what the fabric looks like already. This is the 1 and only solution that worked for our baby who wouldn’t sleep without the swaddle, so praises for that! (I did also have to buy the snuggle band too to get success) However, I’ve tried probably 12 different swaddle/sleep sack type products and the material on this is the worst of all. It pilled up horribly within a matter of days before even going through the wash. As a parent I don’t enjoy the feeling of it on my skin while rocking my baby, let alone my baby’s skin. Also you have to wash it frequently, because baby will put the hands in their mouth and it gets dirty and smelly fast, so if we keep using this I’ll have to spend another $40 to have a spare. But I won’t, I hate the material that much. The fact that this also doesn’t have a double zipper like most other competitors is also a turn off, it’s more than time for them to upgrade the quality of the fabric and the design. I’ll be moving on past this to a sleep sack as quickly as I can. I am grateful that with this product we were finally able to get baby to sleep without having her arms swaddled down and that she can now safely sleep on her belly with this.

Absolutely needed when using these swaddles!!! The zipper bumps up and goes in babies face when they put their arms up. Please buy these!

THIS IS NOT SAFE!!! I loved it at first. It was perfect to transition him from the swaddle sac to a wearable blanket. That security of feeling hugged reduced his Moro reflex. Unfortunately though, I hate it now and I had to stop using it. I only washed it twice and the Velcro stopped working properly. Next thing you know he was able to easily open it, or it would come undone with little movement. I woke up to find it laying up under his neck. Obviously, I didn’t get the picture because I ran to his room, but luckily I went straight there when I noticed because he grabbed it and pulled it around his neck..

I wanted something snug and comforting to help baby transition out of the swaddle, but this thing is not what I thought. It's SUPER thin and extremely loose, so it doesn't fit the baby at all. It also can't be tightened, so it just lightly rests on our baby like a loose piece of clothing, and ends up around his neck at night. It probably won't fit properly on our baby until he's at least 14 lbs. I gave it an extra star because at least it was really cheap. No damage to my wallet.

Our son needed to switch to a transitional swaddle but wouldn’t sleep because he was no longer snug enough. This is perfect. It helps him sleep and keeps him safe.

Exactly as expected. My boy is just a tad chunky so it fits him snug

Maybe it worked a little but I didn’t find that much of a difference, or my baby grew out of her sleep regression so I didn’t really need it anymore. Great quality though and may work for your baby!

Keeps extra material from bunching up near babies face. It really should be included when you purchase it. Also helps baby during the transition out of traditional swaddle
