Soft scent. Works as advertised. Beard feels soft.

I am pleased and somewhat surprised. Surprised because most online products do not meet the hype. Pleased because it works better than expected. Easy to use, beard looks 3 times better than it used to, skin under beard area [after three years] no longer itchy. Only complaint is that the smell, while pleasant, is very much like a 1970s men's after shave -- I would have preferred something more like Caswell Massey number 6, and less like English Leather. Ah well .....

Scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which I appreciate for daily use. Moisturizing & hold: On its own, this isn’t the most moisturizing or longest-lasting beard balm I’ve tried. If you apply it without proper prep (clean beard, some conditioning beforehand), it can feel a bit underwhelming. Used after a beard shampoo and paired with a leave-in conditioner or oil, however, it does exactly what it claims to do—smooths, softens, and helps shape the beard. Value: At $9.99 for a 3 oz jar, it’s a solid value, especially for a reputable brand. You’re not paying premium pricing, and the quality reflects that in a fair way. Bottom line: This is a good, dependable beard balm—not a miracle product, but far from bad. If you already follow a proper beard care routine, it fits in nicely and does its job well. Good choice if: you use beard shampoo and conditioner and want a reliable finishing balm. Skip it if: you want maximum moisture or all-day conditioning from a single product.

Works and looks good, makes my beard thick. as somebody who’s drank way too much fireball kind of makes me gag lol but that’s a me problem. The container is pretty odd though, the edge is kind of sharp and the first time almost cut my knuckle open on the ledge while unscrewing

This product was part of the collection offer in the Scotch Porter Beard Kit. After my friend used all the balm from the beard kit, he asked me to order more. The scent is clean, fresh and not overpowering. You get that same spicy and musk smell as the other Scotch Porter products. There is no irritation or dryness, only softness. The creamy texture of the balm makes it easy to work into his beard and does not leave a greasy feel. The use of the balm and smoothing oil is now part of his daily skin care routine. In conclusion, this is a product that we will be purchasing again.

Like a lot of you with beards, I struggle a bit with itch, dandruff, and manageability. This cream addressed all of these. It's not a cure for serious beard dandruff, but it reduced mine to almost nothing. Before, I had to use a prescription shampoo and cream to address it, but it's so negligible now, I don't use them anymore. It smells great (my wife and I both love the smell), it makes my beard much softer to the touch, and it really helps with manageability. I have a wavy-hair beard, not a long, straight hair one and this helps with the renegade hairs that make it look like a neglected yard. I've had my best luck with blow drying my beard to an almost-dry state and then adding the balm while I finish drying it. And for the record, the blow dryer helps a lot with itching, as does the balm. It's really good stuff and I can't imagine you not liking it.
