Merriam-Webster's Dictionary and Thesaurus, Mass-Market Paperback

Bought this as a replacement to the pocket version of MW dictionary I purchased for my daughter during the Pandemic (as needed for her 1st-Grade virtual learning). Still considering this dictionary as a moderate size (larger than a palm for sure) but significantly thick as it incorporates synonyms for young students to continuously build up their vocabulary and understand how to use each one of them in the right context. Would recommend this dictionary to those who look for an excellent learning tool to work on ELAR!

Small size. Very thick. Small print. But should still get the job done.

I bought this for my computer-savy stepson. He has the dictionary by his side all the time. And it has helped his reading comprehension. Looking words up in a dictionary is a lost art and a skill within itself.

学校指定の辞書で購入。子供が使用する辞書だが文字がとにかく小さい。本の厚みはかなりあるが、軽く持ち運びするには苦にならない。(小学生が使う国語時点の方がよっぽど重く感じる)

My kids found this remarkably difficult to use compared to other dictionaries. Some of the definitions are a little off or unclear and I much prefer English dictionaries rather than this American one.
