Perfect for senior ferret
I bought this for my senior ferret. She loves it! She currently canโt eat solid food and this helps her stay at a healthy weight. Perfect for a topper dry or mixed with water into a gravy. Highly recommend!!

Lifesaver for sick ferret!!
This stuff, along with another critical care food, has been instrumental in saving out girl ferret. We took her to the vet and they didn't know what the problem was but she was very, very ill. We didn't think she'd make it. We decided to take it day by day and care for her the best we could. She couldn't eat hard food and had no interest. I fed her this 3 times a day and made it s thick soup. I'm grateful to say she's out of the woods and now running around. She's not 100% but so much better!! She'll make it. I actually had this on hand as a treat but it quickly became a matter of life and death. Get this stuff, along with other critical care stuff, and have it on hand. Highly recommend and SO thankful I found these online.

Quick nutrient boost, great taste (according to my ferrets) ๐
My ferrets can be very picky about treats and foods. But Duk Soup has been a huge hit for them!!! We have had ferrets for over 15 years, and I havenโt had any that have refused it. They look forward to soupie and run towards me in anticipation and excitement. Easy to mix- while packaging recommends a peanut butter consistency, I add a little more water to make it more like a soup. If itโs thicker, it dries quickly and my ferrets are less likely to finish it.

Definitely recommend for owners struggling with insulinoma
This stuff is great! Even my pickier girl dove into her food with no hesitation. I was worried about weight loss in my girl with insulinoma since she struggled to get enough protein so I decided to give this a try. If anyone else is struggling, I would suggest mixing this in with their kibble (if kibble fed) or adding it to a mixture of your own. What I typically do is grind/blend up all 3 pelleted food brands I feed them (Marshalls, Wysong and Young Again) into a powder and then I mix in the Duk Soup. I keep it in my fridge and every time I have to give medicine(atleast once a day), I scoop some of the mix out and mix it with warm water and Beech Nut baby food (either chicken&chicken broth or beef&beef broth). They go CRAZY over this stuff. They have all been able to successfully gain weight and they are at the perfect BCS(noted by my veterinarian). I hope this helps someone else out there looking for good ways to get them to eat! I also sometimes add egg yolk into it as well to help with hair build up.

Ferret approved
My ferret loves this more than regular food, I mix in critical care to boost nutrition, I feed once a day and leave dry food out. I won't mention the brand of dry food bc its different than brand of review

I have owned many ferrets(9or10?) Over almost 5 decades. I've had ferrets that weren't fans of meat of egg yolks over the years, but NEVER like this male, Odie. We have tried all the tricks, every type of meat or fish/oils etc. He would live off freeze-dried liver but that's not good for them. It's WAY too much iron and they get black tar like diarrhea from too much. A couple months ago, his last sibling died a pretty traumatic way(seizures and squawking for almost 2 days-couldnt get a vet to put her down) anyway when his sibling started to get sick(cancer) Odie became VERY stressed and started chewing out all his fur. Before anyone suggests it, no he doesn't have Adrenal Disease or Insulinoma. He looks like a raw rotisserie chicken tbh. ANYWAY, I didn't hold much hope for the Duk Soup. Just will not consume meats. Soon as it arrived I opened the bag and let him smell it. He immediately started climbing up my leg for some. I put a bit of powder on my finger and he went CRAZY and tried to climb in the bag. I keep the lids from the large Activia Yogurts to put snacks on. I followed the directions and he ate every drop!! I wish I had tried this years ago. Obviously, he's 10 so in human years he's between 100 and 140 lol. He's healthy, but he does look sick now. I HIGHLY recommend Duk Soup! The past few days he's eating properly, his bald chicken skin is more soft(we also put coconut oil on him as their skin dries and getted chapped :( anyway that's all I had to say I guess ๐
