I had removed the HDD from my PS4 and wanted to use it for long term backup storage. When I put in into a USB C enclosure and plugged it in it would briefly power on and turn off without being detected. Obviously the HDD needed more juice than what the port could supply. I had several dual USB to micro USB cable and didn't want to spend $10 more on another cable for just once device. I looked around here on Amazon and found these micro USB to USB C adapters. For less than $5 why not in order to put those cables to use and not have them end up in a landfill? They arrived, plugged the adapter into the cable and it feels pretty snug, no fear of it just falling off from moving it around. Plugged into into the PC and the HDD spun up! If you are like so many of us and have tons of older microUSB cables you no longer use I find these to be a good bargain to give them a second lease on life rather than chucking them into the trash and add more clutter to your home.

I got these to use on a dashcam that had a USB C connection but the available cord was a USB mini. Connection is tight and performance is good.

Perfect for my purposes.

The first batch I ordered, one of the items failed to work. I had to order another one. The product is good, but needs quality control before shipment. I would have given it 5 stars.

I had to replace older failing dashcams that had obsolete mini-usb connections. I had hardwired the cams by running wires from the fuse block behind a panel in the right footwell of each vehicle, a job I wasn't interested in repeating. Since the male mini-usb on the end of that wiring wasn't going to be compatible with the type c connections on the new ones, I needed a solution to avoid a new wiring task. Found these adapters after a brief search. The mini-usb male connector from the car plugs into the female end of the adapter and the type c male on the other end of the adapter connects to the new dashcams. The adapter adds about an inch at the connection point which isn't really an issue. Attached photo shows the adapter attached to one of our new ROVE R2-4K DUAL Dash Cams.

These didn't work at all and all I bought them for was power so that I could use the existing cable in my car for the dash cam. Absolutely nothing. They seem solid, but without functionally, they're useless to me.

I like the slim design, and it worked fine for me.

Glad that there was 2. One of them didn't fit. Looking at the assembly, the shell is off enough not to allow the connection point to work.
