Great straw! Love that is is not plastic! Re-uasable too. Physically, they will last a long time, they don't get soggy or start to deteriorate. Cleanliness-wise is up to you. I use a brush and clean mine out and am OK re-using it for a couple days in my water bottle. After that I get a little hinky because my background is health care and I've seen what 'germs' can do. But that's just me. You do you! Great straw!

This review is for the product “ BIO AGAVE Biodegradable 8.5" Cocktail Short Straws 150 Pcs - Agave Fibers | Plant-Based Eco-Friendly Products | Compostable” I use a lot of straws at home between my own use and for mixed drinks behind the bar. I wanted something better for the environment. For behind the bar, something more like a regular straw than a stir stick so people might actually use them then just take them out of the drink inside of the bar because they’re too tiny to sip out of. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants that serve something similar and have never been all that impressed because they either don’t hold up in liquid or they have a weird texture that bugs me . But these straws are really nice. They hold their shape after sitting in liquid a long time and no strange texture. I purchased these in both the regular size straw and a shorter straw for mixed drinks. I now feel like I can enjoy strives that I know are better for the environment.

These are the best straws, I have been buying for years and use them at home as well as bringing them out to eat. Could not be better

I really like the fact that these straws hold up well and don't get soggy or leave a strange taste like some paper straws. My only concern is the price point. If the bulk size packs become available with free shipping then I'll buy the large pack.
