This is a very well designed & functional product
The ProEars Stealth Elite is a very well designed & functional product. It includes all of the little extras needed to make it comfortable & easy to use. A customized, individual, functional fit is accomplished by choosing from the multiple sizes of provided ear hook loops and 2 types of ear tips (foam for hearing protection & isolation, silicon for clarity while listening to media or phone conversations.) 2 sets of batteries are included for the earbuds as well as a USB C cable for charging the Bluetooth unit. To keep everything conveniently together & organized, there is a lanyard and a compact hard storage case. After I dialed in my fit, loaded the batteries & connected the Bluetooth unit, I easily paired it to my cellphone & brought up some YouTube music videos. The sound was clear & crisp. Fortuitously, while watching the video, I received a phone call and hit the answer button on the Bluetooth unit. The quality of the conversation was excellent and the volume was easily controlled with the buttons on the Bluetooth unit. The caller remarked that it was so much clearer that my usual Bluetooth headset and without the echo & feedback that was usually present from it. The features and sound quality of the ProEars Stealth Elite are well worth the price of admission and I'm totally sold on it. It is truly a multi-functional product that will find equal use at home, while traveling and of course, on the shooting range.

Not worth the money. I've bought 2 different pair and both have the same problems. Read below.
I wanted to like these as they seem awesome at first. But the first and second set I bought both have the same exact issues that developed about 3 days after using them. Here's the issues: Several days in of owning both pair sound starts cutting out of the right or left ear at random. I use these for work in construction and like to use the bluetooth feature to listen to talk radio and youtube videos while I work, or audio books. So literally ever few seconds sound cuts in and out of 1 or both of your ear. Literally every second or two unless you hold your head completely still when you find that perfect spot where they both work and you get sound into both ears. But, you can't do that as a normal human being and shouldn't have to for almost a 150 dollar price tag. Ridiculous. The other issue, is when they do work, you constantly hear static in whatever you're listening to. So when you are listening to something you have to try your best to ignore the constant static cutting in and out. It drives you nuts. Both of these issues. 3rdly, the alligator clip that comes with it sucks. It wont keep these attached to you. I've knocked them off of me numerous times every day and have to constantly look for them when I realize they're not on me when I need to use them. Luckily I always find them in my car, in my trunk, and only once on the ground behind my trunk. So I bought metal aftermarket alligator clips to attach to it to attach to me. I've not lost them once after buying a higher grade clip. Thank god. When you turn the sonic hearing part on (my own terminology) it kinda doesn't really make what you want to hear all that much louder. What get multiplied louder is background noise. Air noise, cars passing by gets louder. The stuff you don't really need or want to get louder. I want people's voices to get louder so I can hear them clearly. Their voices do get a little bit louder, but that's drowned out by the enormous multiplication in background noise. Making you have to take them off a lot of the time just to hear people actually talk. Kinda kills the point of buying these in the first place. I do not recommend these at all. They are total junk especially more so for the price. I've bought 2 pair of these and both have the same exact problems and they start literally within about 3 days of owning them. I work as a Union Operating Engineer and use them to work in. I would recommend trying a different brand or model.

constant noise
the constant noise, either from the earbuds or normal noise from outdoors, was not tolerable when amplified. non amped I could hear turkeys scratching and clucking, but my tinnitus is always present and masks some sounds. Had to unplug the bluetooth wires because when the move against my cloths the sound/static is nerve racking.

Not a very usable product, I'll keep looking
I really want these to work as I'm a big fan of Pro Ears - my Pro Ears Gold Stalker muffs are superb - but I wanted something to wear while shooting skeet that was cooler in warm weather but still provided hearing enhancement. I was hoping to be able to wear them while hunting as well. Like one of the other reviewers, this pair makes a hissing noise when in the 1 position, which gets annoying. It only gets worse on the 2nd position with an added electronic-sounding whine and louder hissing. It's not unbearable and, while shooting, I tend to forget it's there, but when sitting quietly in the woods while hunting, it's very noticeable and the annoyance factor is elevated. As far as sound suppression, it's OK, but it's hard for me to believe that the NRR is 28. I can use them on an open skeet field but I have to go with muffs at the outdoor range that is covered with an awning in the shooting area and walls on both sides. They just don't seem to get the job done and I suspect they would be useless in an indoor range. I've tried to use these on & off since October of 2020, 7 months now, & my opinion hasn't changed. They just aren't a very good product as far as my needs are concerned. Update: I tried these again by molding a pair of Radians molded ear plugs around them, and this actually keeps them in my ear much better, but the right ear unit no longer works. I used these probably a total of 7 or 8 times and then put them up for over a year before trying again yesterday with the Radians, it's hard to believe that a device that costs $160 stops working after less than 10 sessions of use. These simply don't live up to my past experience with Pro Ears quality.

Seems like it would be a easy product to create, but pro ears missed the mark. They are hard to deal with, they have small fragile parts like the battery door that void warranty if bent. The headphones seem very poorly made. They are not sealed anywhere so the IP7 water rating has to be false. It is good rhey have a battery that is interchangeable with long life but they aren't usable as headphones all the time, they sometimes stop playing randomly on one side. Also there is no left or right earbud, just two of the same buds, which is why they probably have trouble with Bluetooth on one side. The Phone is picking both of them up as separate buds. The sound enhancement plainly didn't work for me. Whenever I tried to enable the II on the power control they just started squealing and ringing. googling the issue it is a known issue and the solution is to not use the Hearing Enhancement function if it squeals. What a joke product. Do not waste your time or money, you are going to be disappointed in Pro Ears Stealth Elite.
