These bars taste great, are low in calories, and are very healthy. This snack is surprising filling, as it is less than 200 calories. It also has 4 grams of protein and 16 grams of whole grain per package. It is a great mix of vitamins, nutrients, whole grain, protein, and iron, especially when considering the fact that this is not intended to be a protein bar or meal replacement. This item comes with 96 bars, and the price hovers around $22. Since there are two bars in a pack, each pack costs roughly 46 cents, which is less than half the price this item would be in the checkout aisle of a supermarket or grocery store. The container is somewhat large, but it is not very heavy, and can be stored on a bookshelf, cabinet, table, or the floor. I would recommend eating these with water. These bars and water go together like milk and cereal. You can eat it in the same fashion you eat your cookies: take a bite and then a sip of water, or dip it into the water and eat it. It will make the bar a bit less crunchy and it will make it taste better. Be careful when opening the package and eating the bars. It is a guarantee that the bag will have some crumbs in it before you open it. It is also a guarantee that you will make a few crumbs while eating it. This is because these bars are hard and breakable, as opposed to other granola bars, which are chewy. Overall, I would recommend these granola bars to anyone who is looking for a healthy snack with few calories.

Given my age (let's say "elevated) and activities, I always carry one or two with me at all times to give me a quick energy boost during the day. They are the best I've found...good an crunchy.

This may sound like a weird suggestion for people who aren't from the Gulf Coast, but these make a great Mardi Gras throw. For roughly $21, you get 96 throws. I know you can see that in the listing, but it took me a minute to really think about the math behind this. For approximately 4.4 cents a throw, this is a great buy! If you were to throw candy bars at a generous .45 cents, that would equal a little over twice this much! Not only that, but these are clearly a more healthy option, so you can chuck them at kids with a clear conscience. A lot of guys, myself included, feel that anything under a dollar/throw is a good buy, especially if it's something people will actually want. Also, these exact granola bars are .75 cents apiece out of the vending machine at my job. That's about $76!!! A savings of $50! That's nothing to sneeze at. Bottom line: if you are looking for a good value on a good throw for your Mardi Gras Krewe, you're not gonna find much better than this. If you want a review on the taste of these things, read some of the others, there's like a zillion of them. Let the good times and granola roll!

A pack of these, a container of Chobani 100 calorie yogurt, and a can of diet Dew, and you have yourself a 290 calorie feast.,,or at least something reasonably healthy that tastes great too. The Oats 'N Honey variety is my preferred granola bar, along with their Pecan Crunch variety. I buy the big box because I eat at least one pack a day and sometimes two if I am up late working at the computer. The 96 bar box is actually 48 packs so the box doesn't take long to go through and the shelf life is about one year from date of manufacture. The only negative I have found is some of the bars in the box are really broken up on the ends like the box was dropped at some point, but that may only apply to the box I received. The bulk buy saves money over the cost of four of the typical twelve-pack boxes, and extra trips to the grocery store, especially if you have grandchildren like mine, whom I have repeatedly accused of wanting to come over specifically to filch Pa-paw's granola bars...without effect I might add...

Great value, but some breakage

This granola ia in a convenient pqxkage of two bars and sealed for freshness. The taste is always fresh as can be with the packaging and it doesn't stay around long enough to get stale. Been buying the 98 count boxes for many years and will continue to do so.
