Back to the Roots Windowsill Planter: Lavender

I have bought 4 of these, 1 for me, 3 for gifts. Unfortunately it takes 8wks to get the first sign of growth. We are all so excited, doing exactly as said. I don't have a lot of light, so I use the morning light then put a grow light on it. We are all so excited to have the wonderful smell and look of lavender in our homes. I looked on-line, they have a lot of these, even veggies! I'll have to check those out also, we'll see how the lavender does.

Did not grow at all and I read the directions to the tee. Don’t waste your money on this

I love this product it’s so easy to use . The directions are so simple. My flowers are growing like crazy . I’m so happy for this . I’m not good with plants but this help my home look beautiful as ever

The Back to the Roots Lavender Grow Kit is a nice idea and comes with everything needed to get started. The instructions are easy to follow, making it beginner-friendly. However, growing lavender takes patience, and results can vary depending on lighting, watering, and growing conditions. While it's a fun project, don't expect fast growth or guaranteed success. Overall, it's an enjoyable kit for anyone who likes gardening, but it may require more time and care than expected. Been 2 weeks and Nothing! BUT it's a nice glass jar! Lol

Would gave given this a -3, but option not available. Had this in window over a month. I have a large pot of dirt! Not attractive. No growth at all. Had it on a floor to ceiling window. Great sunlight. Monitored water. Like I said, dirt. Cannot recommend this product. I have taken several college horticulture classes and worked in a large hot house where we germinated vegetables and flowers. Not a novice. So disappointed in Back to the Roots.

I purchased this lavender and later the sunflower. The sunflower took off growing but the lavender never sprouted. Directions are easy to use and makes a good gift except for being glass. I plan to use the soil for another plant and clean out jar for other use.

I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day, along with other things, but I got this for her because she loves lavender, she has a lot to do on a daily basis already and this is easy to do and take care of. Plus it’ll last all year round. I am very happy with this purchase.

I don’t recommend it at all. It’s so bad I try to plant it. I wait nothing happened.
