Don't waste your money! Was hard to lite all the time. I bought good butane and after using the troch 6 time it no longer works. I empty the torch and refilled with fresh fuel and still not working. When pushing the button I don't hear or see any gas the nozzle it must be clogged. Waste of money, junk, a piece of crap.

I bought this for one-off soldering projects and recreational activities. This appeared to be higher quality and the price reflected that. Please don't make the same mistake I did. It did work for a while and the construction seemed slightly above average at first. I quickly realized I had to fill it up every single time I used it and it was always hissing from the nozzle, aka leaking out all the expensive butane. I did get a little use out of it but it finally bit the dust after a few months of medium use, it won't light anymore. Also, the switch for handsfree operation is a huge PITA.

After 9'months of use, NONE BETTER in an industrial environment. I destroyed two other torches in less than as month. including the plastic version by the same company. This puppy is the best. Large capacity tank, great flame adjustment range, and robust .Dropped it 4 feet and rhe flame never went out., dropped it 16 feet (while not in use), no damage. I use it on the minimum setting most of the time for heat shrink. When the fuel gets low and flame gets weak, bumping up the adjustment lever always lets me finish the task.

If you need to shrink shrink tubing or heat shrink butt connectors this is perfect. I also use it when I need to solder larger gauge wires. It easy to use it has a lot of adjustment in flame size. It’s really almost impossible to see the flame out side in the day light. You may not see it’s on so be careful not to burn yourself or other surroundings

I originally purchased this torch in Dec. 2020 and it worked great until a gold metal piece fell out of the center while I was using it. I contacted the vendor who said if I bought another one from them they would refund my money, which I did. I purchased a second butane torch April 27 and now THAT torch has the exact same problem as the first one. The little gold round piece that fits inside the torch fell out as I was using it and when I put it back in, it will no longer work unless I have an outside fire source light it while I’m holding down the red button. And now I see if I buy a replacement, the price has gone up to $60!! I really, really like this torch…when it works. The vendor has refunded my money and they have been easy to work with. Three stars for customer service.

Eh comprado miles y ninguno me a durado tanto como este, todos se descomponían de la chispa o tenían fuga o algo siempre sucedía al mes de comprarlos pero este se mantiene en perfectas condiciones y lo uso demasiado, puede estar prendido bastante tiempo y no se caliente de donde lo agarras como otros que eh tenido. Tiene buena potencia, y está muy cómodo de sostener, como que empieza a querer no funcionar la chispa pero es entendible por lo mucho que lo utilizo de ahí en fuera es el mejor que eh tenido. Muy muy buena compra a un muy buen precio!

Easy to use

A little finicky to operate but good overall. Especially because it can accept a hot air adapter for heat-shrinking tubing which I had to order separately.
