I've never had magnetic door stoppers. I have a few doors in the house that I always keep open. Finally decided to get these during renovation to avoid slamming when windows are open. And boy do they work a treat! The white merges with the paint, so they are discrete. The magnetic strength is very strong. I used screw and wall mounted as have carpets, very sturdy. Best purchase I have made in a while. It helps to be bold haha

Just the job for a garden gate, to hold it open and stop it banging in the wind. Good strong door stop / holder.

These have just the right amount of force to hold a door where you want it, despite feeling too string when you pull them apart by hand. They look good; can't decide if retro or futuristic, but just appear "right" Ordered the white ones and they are very discrete against a white door and white skirting. The only advice I have is to make sure you use a long drive bit or screwdriver to get a good angle on the screw wihout hitting the white paint as it can be damaged. wrapping some tape around the head while fitting would be advisable if you're not mm perfect with screwdrivers.

I bought these to replace the normal door stoppers, and at first I was a bit hesitant to install because I thought it would be complicated, so it actually took a while before I did. However, once I decided to install them by using three screws onto the baseboards and then two smaller screws onto the door, I found these to be extremely convenient, sturdy, and they hold the door quite firmly. Anyone that complains about not being able to pull the door or that the door has no adhesion, they're not installing it correctly, as I did the first couple of times. I would heavily recommend these to anyone who just wants to open a door and for it to stay open, I am really happy with my purchase and I will be buying these or similar for my next home.

Easy to fit and looked really good. Do the job well if installed correctly i.e perfectly aligned. 2 months in though and they've already started to rust. Can't be bothered to return so I'll leave them in place until they need replacing with something better

The door stops look very nice and of good quality. Unfortunately it didn't work for us. The seller was very nice, great customer service.

I had a door that always closed when we wanted it open most of the time. I had a sample paint jug keeping it open. This looks so much better. Easy to install with screwdriver and drill. They provide the accessories for multiple types if install. I had a simple baseboard installation. Initially, I thought the magnet was too strong and it would be hard to close the door when needed. My initial impression was wrong. Once installed it is easy to close the door and if the magnet wasn't as strong, the door might not stay open. This is on a door where I have my ironing board hung in an over the door rack and so it is heavier than a plain door.
