Tick rid
Life saver! My son fell in a deer tick nymph nest, he was covered head to toe, we cleared him and then we kept finding them, turns out they had gone into his car seat. We washed and dried all of the covers and the base but two days later we still found one, so I tried this on a final prayer before throwing the $500 car seat and it worked! It is oily, but I left sprayed it all over the car and let it dry overnight and it was fine. The smell wasn’t horrible when we went to leave the next day.

Work well on mosquitos.
It worked very well for mosquitoes. Has a strong cedar smell when first applied but soaks in quickly and smell is much less.

Smells nice, works well.
Smells really nice and not overwhelming like some others. This is 20% cedar oil which is much stronger than many others. Used it a few times in the woods, so far no tick or mosquito problems.

Smells nice, seems effective against ticks
We live in a wooded area and always mist this on clothes & exposed skin before going outside in the yard/garden. The “tickshield” is the same as their basic line, just with a higher concentration of cedar oil. Smells nice like cedar. It can feel a little oily on the skin at first but absorbs after a while. It does a decent job thwarting most bugs as long as you keep reapplying it (black flies don’t seem to be phased). Anecdotally it does seem to be effective against ticks - we haven’t gotten any ticks on us while wearing it, but a worker who was in our yard for just a few minutes without any bug spray pulled two ticks off of himself. The bottle arrived with a screw cap on and the sprayer separate, inside a zip lock type bag, but it did leak a little - thankfully not too much. Would have been nice if the screw cap was sealed with plastic to prevent leaking.

Smells good, but does not kill fleas
I got this hoping it would help keep the fleas off of my dog after a flea bath, but it doesn't seem to bother any of the fleas that are already on her. They dislike freshly-applied Cedarcide, but don't die or jump off. I'll have to try applying Cedarcide immediately after a flea bath. To my understanding, cedar oil is not toxic to fleas, but may contain compounds that make it difficult for fleas to find their victims. I have tried Cedarcide on fire ants and roaches, and it did kill them. If you get some Cedarcide for fleas and it doesn't work, you could always use it to deodorize old rugs, freshen laundry, and probably repel ticks and mosquitoes. Just beware that it is a little oily until dry, and has a very strong smell that is rather overwhelming for pets.

Worked for me and am grateful.
Seems to work well for ticks and mosquitoes and other biting bugs. It has a smell that isn’t unpleasant unless you hate a woody scent.

Does the product contain Lemongrass or not?
Trying to decide if this is a case of false advertising. Under Top Highlights - About this item: the information stated that it contained: POWERFUL CEDAR & LEMONGRASS FORMULA. In the comparison it listed the that the Tickshield Extra-Strength Bug Spray contained Cedarwood OR Lemongrass When received the label only listed Cedarwood 20% and Inert ingredents 80%. with no mention of Lemongrass. Is there a product that has both Cedarwood AND Lemongrass?
