Mannol Engine Motor Flush 300ml

Seems good stuff this, cant prove the results though. It not your usual runny solvent type like i have used before, it has some thickness to it so must add some oil/lubrication properties to the mix of detergents/dispersants which is reassuring, but its not as thick as oil. I did notice the drain stop sooner than normal so suspect it does thin the oil and promoted more of it to drain out, so that must help. I wouldn't expect this to clean fouled engines massively but rather use it as maintenance between oil changes to flush out and help with the removal of the old oil, making sure all the suspended dirt gets out. It may not do much, but it certainly wont do any harm to keeping your engine clean in my opinion. Ill be buying and using again, great value.

Did this while replacing an oil pressure sensor and filter change, oil before I started wasn't too dark only about 6months and 5K miles old, added this straight into the engine didn't drain and re pour in, ran it for the time specified on the back of the can and then when draining it was consideravly darker. Also peering in the top of the timing chain cover was visibly cleaner than before so I reckon jobs a good 'en, very effective. When the new sensor and oil etc was put in, the engine was noticeably quieter at idle and also while driving normally to 30mph. Not scientifically tested, could be in my head. Can't complain about the price either, cheaper than other brands and worked just great

I did my own oil change and used this in the process. A professional mechanic rated my work 7/10 because I left the sump a bit messy, but no leaks. You're welcome!

This worked very well on my recent oil change. The drained oil was much quicker at running out and the dripping slowed to an almost stop, which is rare as normally it'll dribble for hours. Will be using this from now on. I use Mannol oil so this brand seems to be quite good with car fluids.

Garage did the flush car seems fine.
