**Q: Will this cut PEX?**
A: Yes! It will though it might be tough! It will cut nylon air line which is a little thinner! Anything without metal basically!

**Q: Will this work on garden hoses?**
A: Yes, as long as your garden hose is pure vinyl or rubber.   The reinforced hoses out there these days have strands of stainless steel and will dull the blade.

**Q: Is this cutter spring loaded?**
A: Yes it is spring loaded to open. The wire clip on the handle locks the handles together for easy storage. Works great better than using a dykes.

**Q: will it cut hydrolic hose?**
A: no primarly used for rubber and nylon reinforced will not cut cleanly through a wire re-enforced hose
