Great for the tree

Purchased twice: received different quality items on repeat order! First one was solid ceramic/heavy with legible writing. Second order was for two more, and price had dropped but the ornaments they sent me were not the same, and were faulty (illegible). Read on .... 1st Order: I bought two similar ornaments on Amazon from two different sellers and the other one arrived first - I returned that one to the other seller as it was like a flat plastic photo of the actual ornament. I was dreading THIS one arriving as I thought it might be similar and a waste of money. I was delighted though when this one did arrive - it took a few weeks to get here. It’s a lovely bright solid ornament and is actually quite big. I used a sharpie to add names - I took a photo after I had started so that I could show the scale beside my sharpie for this review. I even added hair and eyelashes later with my sharpie after adding all the names and my banner title below it. I’d highly recommend this ornament. It’s well made and will look great on the tree. Just beware of other similar items from other sellers on Amazon as they aren’t always the genuine article and they give you the runaround when you ask for a refund. From my photo you can see that this one is. I’d definitely be happy to buy these again. Just noticed today that the price has now dropped to less than £2. Bargain as I paid more than £3. Going to buy some more as gifts! Update November 2020: Please read on! 2nd order: The price had dropped but the photos remained the same and there was still no written description on their Amazon advert so I expected to receive two more like the first one I’d bought. Unfortunately the two from the second order arrived and are not the same at all. These two are rubbery, and bendy, not solid. A much thinner material. The words Hand Sanitizer on the little bottle are totally blurry and illegible! These are defective items! Not fit for purpose at all. I’ve included photos to show the blurry, illegible writing on them, and to compare them with the first one I bought to show the differences. In the photo of one on top of the other you can see the thickness and colour are clearly very different, as well as the writing. The thinner one on top is one of the two from the second order. The bottom one with brighter colour and shine, is the first order one. Based on these second order ones, I would not recommend buying these. I know they weren’t expensive but I could get much better ones for less elsewhere. I’d bought these later ones as token gifts to add to friends gift bags along with their presents - but these ones are defective, so I can’t. I’m really disappointed in these faulty ones. The seller appears to have changed manufacturer since my first order. There is possibly a lack of quality control, as these defective ones should have been rejected at source! I requested a refund from the seller as they are not as pictured, and more importantly they are defective due to the illegible writing. I’m also now disappointed that I recommended these in my first review above (having previously given them 5 stars based on my first order). The seller emailed me back and forth a few times (including asking me for photos as proof, which I provided) via Amazon. The seller however was not prepared to pay for return postage (to China), and offered only a 50% refund. Also, they didn’t initially provide the option of a UK address for return either. They stated that they would not refund me until after they received the items back, and they clearly expected me to cover the costs of return by providing an address label (for an address in China) that didn’t include prepaid postage. I had already made it clear to them that I would not accept a partial refund and that I was not interested in keeping these 2 faulty items. There was also no way I would or should pay for postage to return defective goods. These should not have been sold to me in that condition. So I applied instead to Amazon for a refund under their A-Z policy, which Amazon agreed to provide within minutes. Further Update (approx one week later): After getting my refund from Amazon, the seller contacted me by email providing a UK address to return the faulty items to - still at my own expense (!?!?!?!) as postage was still not included. In this email the seller also informed me that having their (faulty) items in my house after receiving a refund equates to theft, and that if they don’t receive them back, the seller is considering taking legal action against me! I take offence at the inferences being made as I am happy to return the items which I have no use for due to their condition. I just know that legally I should not be out the expense (setting aside the inconvenience of having to get someone to post them for me and get me a receipt as proof, during Covid restrictions, when I am trying to shield!) of the return of FAULTY items. Bear in mind also that we are talking about articles whose return postage probably costs more than my refund! The sooner they send me return postage the better as I want this matter resolved. So I have replied to inform them that I will return the items once I have received prepaid postage and confirmation from them that the UK address provided is correct. There is no recipient name (nor business name) on the return UK address, it doesn’t make sense in the format provided, and it isn’t recognised by Google Earth. So I have asked the seller to double check the address before providing me with their prepaid postage as I certainly don’t want them wasting their money, nor for their items to go missing in the post either if the address is incorrect, which it appears to be. I will of course make sure that I get proof of postage once they reply with my prepaid postage. Just to be clear: I am NOT implying that the seller has purposely given me an incorrect address. I just want to make sure that they actually receive them. These second order defective items, and the attitude of the seller in regards to my refund and return get a one star rating from me. I noted that there is still no written description of the ornament other than the product title - just photos of the better quality ones. My first order item was like the sellers photographs (5 star!), but unfortunately my repeat (second) order ones definitely weren’t (so 1star!). It appears to be pot luck which type you get, and the prices fluctuate.

Disappointed as I messaged as soon as I placed the order but apparently it was too late to have the names I wanted put on. I was told I can write them on.. this wasn the service I was hoping for. Also product is Thin and flimsy.

Awful product badly made and not worth the money. Very thin plastic

Ordered 3 and 1 was ok but the other two printed on cheap flat plastic and the image quite faint not impressed

So small.. I tried to write names on the little hats but they are too small. This is tiny.
