No problem in dishwasher or microwave and no scratches after two months of use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty! *by R***E on July 7, 2025* Ordered the Pfaltzgraff Sadie 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Blue, because in my experience Pfaltzgraff last forever, heavy duty yet look good! This set arrived with two of the four mugs damaged - handles broken off. The very thin sheet of waffle cardboard paper separating the mugs a nod to "protection" and clearly insufficient. Amazon said return the entire set for a replacement or call Pfaltzgraff. I do not want the hassle of returning the whole set so I called Pfaltzgraff - they are out of stock for the blue mugs, no idea of restock, suggested contact Amazon. This is ridiculous, a loop, and I'm just going to have to just have two mugs. I did not take off stars for poor packaging, that's unfair unless the manufacturer packed the items. The texture on the plates is subtle, just enough to keep food in place when cutting, not enough to get in the way eating or cleaning. Blue color just intense enough with interesting fade to lighter. The colors of dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls uniform enough. However, the mugs were more gray than blue, but they would be served in after plates/bowls cleared so who would know. Me, so, yes, minus one star. I expect SOME level of variation in pottery items but this was pronounced, as if they belonged in a whole different color set. Do buy these, great looking AND heavy duty...heavy, period.
