Can I wear it in the shower/can it get wet

I wouldn’t wear it in the shower or get it wet personally. I’m sure you could though. It is pretty much like a shoe lace material, so it would soak up water. You would have to squeeze the water out of it to help it dry quicker. I really like it though and get tons of compliments. I love how you can adjust it to your wrist size.

Can i use it as a hair tie?

No, it only closes down to a small sized wrist. Would not close tight enough to hold your hair in place. Great bracelet though!
