I purchased this for the PiKVM. The quality is great, works as expected, plus the soft material makes it a bit nicer, and price point is also good. Definitely recommend. If you are running into an issue where you are not getting any data flowing through, you need to make sure you are not using one of those in between power buttons. It's the extension piece that typically comes with the CanaKit that the power plugs into with the button. I spent hours trying to figure this out.

It works exactly as it should, enabling me to record audio directly to my phone's video through the connection with a usb mixer, and allowing me to keep it charged during longer recording sessions.

Work very well but problem is that if you leave it plugged into the charger it burns itself out.

I am working on a Raspberry Pi project and needed to be able to use the USB functionality while still being able to power the device. I bought this so that I could connect it directly to my phone as well. It does the job. The power feeds just fine, the USB-C port fits nice and snug on all ends, I've been able to use this on all the devices with no issues with compatibility, and even the strength/toughness of the materials and braided lines are a huge plus, as it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic like others I've bought. Will definitely get this again if I need more or make it a standard of my project.

I liked the conceived purpose, but not only did it fail to live up to that, it almost destroyed hundreds of dollars in electronics and could have burned my house down too. After unboxing I connected it to my phone which then promptly shut itself down. I unplugged it, rebooted phone and tried again; same result. I connected my charger cable (below the maximum allowed Amperes for adapter) and phone turned on and off. As soon as the phone shut down again, tendrils of white smoke began to rise from my phone and the purchased adapter. I immediately unplugged the adapter from my phone and charger. Adapter tips reached over 290°F (yes, I have an infrared thermometer and checked) after only 5-10 seconds of being plugged in. Had I not stuck around to observe this, I would have come back to find my phone melted and burning and a fire underway in my living room. This is seriously unacceptable. My phone is not functioning the same now either. Screen flickers and battery won't recharge anymore, due to soldering points that came detached in the charging port due to the intense heat delivered by this adapter. I now had to buy a new phone. Wish I had never bought this. I still can't get the electrical fire smell out of my home. I've since bought another adapter from a different manufacturer and it works perfectly, unlike the one offered here. I have returned mine for a refund, but really this seller ought to be paying for my replacement phone and smoke damage mitigation. I may speak to an attorney about this. This product is clearly not tested or inspected prior to sale and poses a catastrophic risk to your home, loved ones, and valuables. Don't buy it! It will kill your phone/tablet/laptop and very probably burn down your house.

Probado, y hasta ahora no me ha fallado, le conecte un USB 3.0 de 64 GB, y lo acepto, ya lo había formateado pero lo volví hacer con el chromecast TV, estoy contento con la compra, en un mes volveré actualizar este comentario, pero si lo recomiendo.

Il cavo nel complesso è compatto, solido e i connettori tengono tutti molto bene. Svolge la sua funzione alla perfezione, riconosce ricarica rapida 15W del mio Galaxy A32 5G, nel frattempo si possono connettere storage USB e persino adattatori ethernet. Utilizzo quest'ultimo per il tethering dal telefono verso un router e le velocità registrate sono di oltre 200 Mbps (tutto ciò che può fornire il telefono, quindi forse va anche molto oltre) mentre si ricarica. L'unico mio dubbio è sulla durabilità e resistenza nel tempo, non per la bassa qualità del prodotto, ma temo (per esperienza principalmente) che questi cavi, soggetti a uso frequente, siamo poco duraturi. Per ora non vedo alcuna problematica, ma se in futuro riscontrerò qualche problema (spero no) aggiornerò la recensione. Per adesso tutto ok! Consigliato.
